"A word please" Leah said to me
"Of course" I smirked standing up

We walked out of the room and out into the hall
"So..." I said dragging the O for a while
"Breaking the house rules on purpose?" Leah asked me
"Who me? No never!" I snickered
"Drop the acted...stop breaking them please" Leah begged
"Fine...only for you" i winked
"Who else would it be for?" Leah asked giving a pointed look
"Myself... kinda getting annoying when you're shouting at me the whole time" I rubbed the back of my neck
"Great reason to just follow the rules then" Leah patted my back walking back into the changing rooms.

I know Gio didn't mean to make me uncomfortable but the whole training session she was trying to get physical contact. Either from standing shoulder to shoulder in the team talk, trying to hug me whenever she could, clinging onto me after a running race, putting her arm around my waist at drinks break. It was effecting my ability at football... constantly losing the ball, constantly chasing the ball, not getting passes off right.

I stood in the middle of the pitch at half time in the training match trying to catch my breath.
"Hey what's wrong" Leah said standing next to me
"I don't know Leah" I said looking up at her as I was bent down, resting my hands on my knees.
"Your not your normal self out there"
"I can't Leah" I said feeling a lump in the back of my throat, looking back at the floor.
"Can't do what?" Leah said bending down trying to find my eyes
I looked to the side of me, where Leah was bent down with tears in my eyes
"I need to go" I whispered
"Okay, okay we can sort that out" Leah smiled softly
Leah guided me to the changing rooms telling me to get changed and then she'll drive us home
I sat on the bench, trying to put my shoes on, as Leah waited by her cubby

"I need my mum..." childish... but my mum has always been my comfort person and the only person who I would allow to hug me when I was sad.
"I can get her to come here if you like?" Leah suggest
"No you can't... she lives up north... and on holiday right now" I said shoving my head in my hands
"What do you need from her maybe I could help somehow?" Leah walked over to me bending down in front of me
"I need a hug" I whispered... cringing ever so slightly
"Thought you didn't like physical contact"
"It was the only time I would let my mum hug me, she calmed me down and knew when I needed it" i said looking up at her
"Can I try something?" Leah asked
I nodded my head

Leah pulled my body into hers ever so slowly
"Calm down" Leah whispered into my ear
I slowly got use to her and moved my arms around her waist, making the hug tighter
"It's okay" leah carried on whispering in my ear

I had only experienced this kinda safety with one other person...my mum
But this ain't right, right? How can Leah be the one to calm me down...

"Let's get you home" leah said softly pulling me out of the changing room and out to her car.

"Alex!" Gio said running up and practically jumping on top of me
"Hey Gio" I said pushing her off me softly and making my way to the team talk

"So today we will work on passing and movement" Jonas said looking around the room

I felt a hand slip into mine, thinking it was Gio I pulled away from it, only for the hand to lock more tightly around my hand
I looked to the left to see Leah
"It's just me" leah smiled softly
Calming down just a little bit, i tired to focus back on the time talk.

"Hey so I thought maybe you and me could work on some long passes sometime?" Leah asked putting her hand on my rib cage from behind
I nodded with a smile
"Sure" I said

"You ready?" Leah asked as I finished packing my bags
"Yep" i said popping the P giving her a smirk
"Finally..."
"I wasn't that long"
"About 40 minutes to get packed up..." Leah said looking down at her watch
"I got distracted...sorry"

Leah pov:

I woke up in the night needing a drink, I got out of bed and went down to the kitchen.

After chugging the water I made my way upstairs and past Alex's room, which door was wide open

I heard the bed springs and then fast breathing

I poked my head in to see what was going on

"Hey you alright?" I asked Alex softly
"Hm yeah, um yeah I am" Alex said trying to catch her breath

A nightmare, that's what she just woke up from...

After a few seconds Alex spoke up again

"Could you maybe stay here tonight?" She was nervous
"Of course I can, don't be nervous" I said softly laughing
"Thanks" Alex smiled

I got into her bed and laid on my back
"I'm here Alex, you can go to sleep" I whispered trying to calm her down

A few minutes past until she calmed down

I closed my eyes after making sure Alex was trying to sleep, trying to fall back asleep myself

That's when I felt her, moving into my arms, shoving her head in the crock of my neck, letting out a big sigh.

Butterflies that's what I felt.

I wrapped my arms around her pulling her closer

"Night Leah" Alex mumbled

"Night Alex"

She's warming up me...
