Chapter 20: Safety

It's been a few weeks since the incident with Leah, I'm back on the pitch again running and will shortly join the team in full training.

Leah and I have slowly built our "relationship" back up again, it seems like everything is going back to normal.

"How was training?" I asked as I put my arm around Leah's shoulder bringing her closer to me, as we stood in the changing rooms

"Good, just finishing the final touches before our game against Chelsea this weekend"

"I'm so annoyed I won't be back in time for that match" I sighed slightly

"But then when we play them again you'll be full recovered and be able to play the full 90" Leah smiled tapping my stomach

"I haven't got long now until I'm back involved in the match's" I smiled down at her

"Alright love birds" Katie teased as she walked into the room

I moved off Leah and pulled Katie into a headlock

"Al stop, your giving her what she wants" Leah laughed pulling me off her

"Lucky" I said to Katie

Katie laughed before turning away and walking off to Caitlin.

"You haven't changed at all" Leah laughed moving over to me

"I have!" I defended myself

"Oh have you?" Leah ask rhetorical

"Yes, Katie had it coming for her" I rolled my eyes

"Yeah definitely change..." Leah laughed pushing herself off me

"Woah where you going?" I said grabbing her left wrist gentle

"Physios, just need to check my calf" Leah smiled at me

"I'll come with you" i let go of her wrist and started walking with her

"How long has it been hurting?" I asked as we neared the physio room

"Happened in training today, it will be nothing don't worry" Leah said running her hand down my arm as we stepped into the physios room

"Hello you two" Faye said as we walked in

"Hey you alright?" I smiled at her

"I'm good thank you, so what brings you two here then?" Faye said standing up from her desk

"I've got some pain in my calf from training, just want to get it checked out quickly, if that's okay?" Leah said politely

"Yeah of course it's okay Leah" Faye said rubbing her hand on Leah's shoulder

I scrunched up my face slightly at the action from where I was sat on the sofa in the room

Faye started to feel around leahs calf to make sure everything was okay as I sat on my phone.

"Sorry I've got to take this" I said as a call from my mum came through

I left the room and went outside to talk to my mum

After 10 minutes or so I made my way back inside, as I walked down one of the halls to get to the physio room, I turned the corner and saw Leah walking at a pace towards me.

She said nothing but hugged my body, I softly put my arms around her shoulders, Leah was out of breath and clearly panicked

"Are you okay?" I said as she moved her arms to wrap around my neck as I moved my to go around her waist
