Chapter 11: Jealousy

"Up!" Leah said as she walked into my room, walking over to the blinds and pulling them open, which caused me to duck my head into my covers
"Alex" Leah said sternly, standing by my bed, I looked up and before she could realises, I pulled her down so she was sitting on my bed.
I pulled her closer and rested my head on her stomach
"Just a few more minutes please" I mumbled
"Fine but only a few" Leah sighed, running her hands through my hair

"What would you like for breakfast" I asked Leah, looking through the cupboards
"Cereal" Leah smiled
I grabbed to bowls and then the cereal boxes and put them on the table

We ate breakfast and then ran out to the car and headed of to training

Leah had to go to the physio room, so I made my way to the changing rooms by myself
The changing rooms were empty apart from Gio, who was still getting ready.
Most of the girls were outside trying to catch the sun before our afternoon training
"Morning" I smiled
"Morning Alex" Gio smiled
Already being in my kit, I put my bag down and sat in my cubby on my phone
Gio came and sat down next to me and rested her head on my shoulder, looking at my phone, normal right for Brazilians to be affectionate, right?

"Wait you have tiktok?" Gio asked surprised
"Yeah but I don't go on it very much" i said looking down at the girl
"You should defo follow me"
"Oh yeah and why's that?" I teased jokingly
"Because I'm your best friend"
"Really? I never knew that" I laughed earning a slap to my leg
"Here give me your phone I'll put my username in"

I handed over my phone and gave it to Gio, she clicked on her page and gave it back to me
I started to scroll through her videos
When I came along a video of her lips syncing to a love song and then had a quote underneath
'A will never know put she's the one for me'
The  A had it underlined to show it was someone's name

Before I could think more about it, Leah came storming into the room
"Slow down will ya" I teased
"Am I interrupting you two?"
"No?" I said confused and stood up
"I'll see you two later, I'm gonna go say morning to the girls" I said making an exit out of the door

Gio kept giving me a load of hugs during the day... which made me a little uncomfortable but since Leah was there it was as if she was a my safety blanket

We were all in the changing rooms and I was speaking to Leah about Alice and her family
"Hey Alex" Gio said coming up to me putting a hand on my shoulder
"You alright?" I asked
"Yeah, um can I have a word with you in private?" She asked
I nodded before looking at Leah and giving her an apologetic smile

We walked out to the benches, were most of us have lunch or dinner on a hot day
"So you wanted to talk about something?" I asked
"It wasn't really for a chat it was for this"
Gio said coming closer to me
"Wha-
I said before being cut off, Gio had kissed me

I backed away and looked confused
"Why did you do that?" I said in shock
"I like you Alex, most the girls know I like you" Gio explained
"I'm sorry Gio but I'm not into like that" I said looking down
"It's okay I understand"

I walked away and back into the changing rooms
I sat down at my cubby and looked down at my feet, how could people know and I couldn't even notice my self, does Leah know?

"Hey" Leah said sitting next to me
"You knew didn't you"
Leah nodded
"And you didn't think to tell me?"
"It's not up to me to decide"
"Still could of given me a heads up" I said getting annoyed
"I'm going home"
"How?"
"I don't know Leah, but I need to get away from everyone"
I stood up grabbed my bags and walked out
calling for a taxi to pick me up.

"She kissed you!" Leah shouted walking into the room
"Yeah, I thought you knew, since you already knew she liked me with out telling me" I hissed
"She told us that she was just gonna confess her feelings to you and nothing else" Leah said getting angry
"Oh so that just alright, yeah?"
"I don't know why your so mad, Alex, we were all trying to set you up on a date"
"Why is that you guy's decision?" I asked
"We were only trying to help"
"Well I don't want there help"
"There?"
"Yes Leah there, of course I want your help with things but I don't need everyone else's help with my personal life" I sighed

"I'm sorry" Leah sighed
I walked up to her and pulled her in for a hug
"I'm sorry for shouting at you" I mumbled into her neck
"It's just that like-
Leah hesitated
"Go on"
"You know that I like you and everything but I don't want to drag you into what I have to live like every single day, so I tried to set someone up with you so you would forget about me" Leah sighed
I pulled my head out of her neck but still hugging her
"But what if I want to go through that with you?" I asked
"Trust me you don't want to" Leah laughed
I slowly leaned closer to her face, Leah did the same

It was a slow kiss, but a kiss full of passion

"I don't want anyone else Leah" I said pulling out of the kiss....
