Chapter 17: Game Day 1

We all piled onto the team bus as we made our way up to Manchester for the first game off the season against City at the Eithad Stadium. Our match against City is tomorrow but Jonas wanted us to stay over in Manchester to save travelling tomorrow.

We all sat down in our normal seats and began to talk or listen to music.

I hadn't gotten much sleep last night so I tried to catch up on that as we travelled up to Manchester, but Katie had different plans

She started to throw sweets at me as I tried to sleep from the sits facing us.

"Katie can you stop?" I grumbled pushing my head further against the window

Katie being Katie didn't listen and carried on throwing sweets at me

I finally had enough when one hit my in my eye

"Katie!" I said grabbing all the sweets she had thrown at me and chucking them back at her

Lotta and Alessia Russo, our new summer signing from my old club, united, were laughing taking videos off Katie and I fighting

"Nothings changed" Alessia laughed as she pointed at me

I picked up one off the sweets and chucked it at Alessia "and what do you mean by that Alessia?" I smirked

"You and Ona were the exact same as you and Katie but at untied instead"

"Me and Ona were well behaved at united, I don't know what your on about" I said sarcastically, pointing my finger at her jokingly

"So your saying your not behaved here?" Leah piped up from besides me

"What- i- no"

"Hmm that sounded convincing" Leah teased

"Will you lot just let me sleep?" I huffed, slouching down in my seat

"Ahhh come here then" Leah said with a fake pout

"No your teasing me" i huffed

"Okay lean against the cold window then" Leah shrugged turning to talk to Lotte and Alessia on the other table

Eventually I leaned my head against her arm

"Did you not fancy the window?" Leah teased moving her arm so I was resting underneath it

"Too cold" I mumbled closing my eyes

I would say I got about 30 minutes off sleep before I got woken up

I dug my head into Leah's shoulder and rubbed my eyes

"We have stopped to get a coffee, do you want anything?"

"Hot chocolate, but I'll come with you"

I stood up and stretched before we made our way out of the bus

We all made our way make onto the bus and into our normal seats

"What drink did you get, Alex?" Lia asked sitting besides Katie

"I got a tea" I said to try stop them teasing me

"Tell them the truth" leah laughed from besides me

"Okay fine I got a coffee"

"Hot chocolate you mean" Leah piped in

"Why were you lying about your drink order?" Wally questioned

"Because last time I told Katie what drink I had she called me a child for at least two weeks"

"Don't know who she's calling a child when she still can't do her own shoe laces" Wally said laughing
