Anne awoke to the sounds of footsteps outside her room. Each member of the Plantar family was given their own guest room. The only exception being Polly due to a traumatic memory of a horrible night at an inn.

Suddenly the door to her room swung open. "Hey Anne! Come on! We got a new mission!" Marcy shouted.

Anne opened her eyes and saw Marcy standing at the door holding a rolled-up piece of paper. Next to her were the Plantars and Frobo. "Can't it wait till later? I had a very long night." Anne complained.

"Come on Anne, I think you might wanna hear this." Hop Pop said.

Anne sat up. "Alright, lay it on me Mar Mar."

Marcy walked to the bed and unfurled the piece of paper, revealing a detailed map of Newtopia. Part of the map was colored green, and the rest was red.

"Last night, Sasha and the toads broke out of the dungeon." Marcy explained.

"What?" Anne suddenly leaned forward. She was wide awake now. "How did that happen?"

"Beats me. The guards are still investigating." Hop Pop said.

"Right now, we have even bigger issues." Marcy pointed towards the green spot on the map. "Sasha and the toads have barricaded themselves in the market district. The Newtopian military wants us to infiltrate the market district and figure out what they may be planning."

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get moving!" Polly yelled.

"Hold on, remember this is a stealth mission. If they know we're spying on them, they might change their plans. We do have a bit of a problem when it comes to stealth." Marcy looked at Frobo.

Frobo moved his joints to wave hello, creating a lot of noise in the process.

"Yeah, I see your point."

"Agreed."

"That would be a problem."

"Well Frobo, looks like you'll have to wait here till we get back." Hop Pop said.

Frobo just gave a thumbs up.

"So how are we getting in?" Anne asked.

A few hours later, the entire group was underneath a bridge. Above them, loyalist troops were facing off against the toads. Both sides had set up their own barricades on opposite ends of the bridge and neither side wanted to enter no man's land. Unfortunately, this meant neither side could sneak through.

Marcy tied a rope to her crossbow arm and shot it at the bridge from below. The crossbow bolt got stuck in the support and created a rope they could use to swing to the other side.

"We're going to have to swing across quietly or they might hear us." Marcy whispered.

"Right, stealth mode." Anne whispered. She jumped at the rope and used its momentum to swing across. Miraculously, the arrow didn't get dislodged. She landed on her feet.

Next was Sprig who made it across without any issues.

Then Hop Pop made it across.

Marcy grabbed Polly. "You ready?" she asked.

"Let's do this." Polly replied excitedly.

Marcy jumped at the rope and used the momentum to swing to the other side.

Polly was scratching herself once they made it across. "It's so itchy!"

"Shh! Polly, they're going to hear you." Sprig said.

Polly continued to scratch, and the frustration was visible on her face.

"Alright, the scouts believe they're using one of the warehouses as their base. Luckily, we can sneak in through the vents." Marcy explained.
