・゚゚・。 Tsireya, Ao'nung, and Rotxo led the Sully's and Dom towards a good diving point. As Dom looked into the water, she wondered what it looked like underneath.
The Metkayina children dove in first, looked graceful as they did so. Lo'ak and Neteyam were quick to follow, jumping into the water. Dom went next, attempting to dive the same way Tsireya had.
Thanks to her mask, Dom had no problems breathing under the sea. She looked around, amazed by the creatures. Many types of fish swam near them, as well as creatures Dom didn't recognize. The bright colors caught Dom's attention the most. She was unable to look away from it all.
As their teachers began swimming further away, Neteyam gestured for his siblings and Dom to follow them. The human girl looked back at Kiri, who was mesmerized by the sea.
Dom smiled to herself, following the others until a creature got closer to her. The others stopped to watch the creature swim around Dom. Tsireya grinned, coming closer. She gently took Dom's hand, putting it on the creature. When the na'vi tapped it's back, the creature began to swim forward slowly. Dom noticed it had an end where a na'vi queue could connect to it. She realized it was probably going slow because there was no connection.
When the creature stopped, Dom let go, allowing it to swim off with more of it's kind. She had been so intrigued, she hadn't realized the Sully's had gone back to the surface for air. Seeing the Metkayina go up as well, Dom swam back up, surfacing in between Tuk and Lo'ak.
"Are you alright?" Tsireya asked them.
"You're too fast! Wait for us!" Tuk cried, holding onto Dom's arm.
"You guys are bad divers. May be good at swimming through trees but-" Ao'nung teased, getting cut off when his sister smacked his head.
"We don't understand this finger talk. We don't know what you're saying." Neteyam spoke.
"I will teach you." Tsireya replied.
"It's Dom, right?" Rotxo asked. The human girl nodded. "You did very good with the ilu."
"Oh thanks." Dom smiled, looking over at Tsireya who grinned happily.
"Yes, you won't be able to bond with one, but earning their trust is a good idea." The chief's daughter added.
"What's an ilu?" Lo'ak looked at them in confusion.
"Our version of your ikrans. We will teach you how to ride one now. Dom, I will teach you how to ride behind someone."
"Thank you." Dom thanked her, following Rotxo and Ao'nung to a more shallow part of the sea.
Rotxo stopped, looking around in confusion. "Where is Kiri?" Ao'nung mumbled a 'who' and Rotxo asked again. Dom lowered herself under the water, spotting her friend at the bottom, interacting with the sea life.
"She's over there." She spoke as she came back to the surface. Neteyam swam over to her, bringing his sister over to where the others were swimming to.
As the Sully's and Dom stood off to the side, Ao'nung called for the ilus.
"Was it easy?" Lo'ak whispered.
"For me it was." Dom said quietly, having a feeling it would be much harder when you actually make the bond.
"It seems easy." Kiri added, eager to try. Tsireya gestured for the Sully's to come closer. Dom stayed back, watching Tsireya show Lo'ak. She watched with curiosity as Lo'ak's ilu rushed forward. She couldn't help but giggle as he was thrown off.
A few more tries later and they all seemed to get it. Rotxo and Tsireya switched, Lo'ak going with Rotxo so the female was with Kiri. She motioned for Dom to come over, the blonde doing so slowly.
"Sit behind Kiri and put your left hand here." Dom did as she was instructed.
"What about my right hand?"
"Let it flow behind you. When the ilu dives under, your lower body will rise and float above Kiri's. As long as you keep your left hand tight and stay calm, you will be fine." Tsireya said, gesturing for Kiri to go.
Dom did as she was told, feeling her body began to float above the ilu and Kiri's bodies. She finally took the time to look around, smiling at the sight of the sea. There was colorful coral everywhere and so many different creatures swam near them, just like before. The water rushed against her skin, but it didn't bother her. It felt nice, calming her in a sense.
As Kiri's ilu slowed down and brought them back to the surface, Tsireya and Rotxo cheered for them.
"You are learning!" Tsireya grinned.
Kiri turned to face Dom, both girls adorning a bright smile on their faces.

Tsireya and Rotxo carefully instructed the Sully's and Dom on the rocks. They were learning how to breathe better, something that would help the Sully's stay underwater longer. Although she didn't need to learn, Dom stayed to show her respect.
"Breathe out is if you were flickering a candle." Tsireya instructed, Roxto demonstrating.
Dom did so, earning a nod from Rotxo. He smiled at Kiri, who seemed to also be getting it. Kiri looked at her female friend, her eyebrow raised. Dom tried to bite back a grin, sensing exactly what Kiri was sensing.
Neteyam, who sat on Dom's right side, nudged her gently. He subtly gestured to Lo'ak and Tsireya.
"Lo'ak, your heartbeat is fast." She spoke, her hand over his heart.
Dom, Neteyam, and Rotxo all shared a look. They all smiled, Dom knowing she would tease Lo'ak later. Spotting their grins, Kiri rolled her eyes.
"You all seem to be doing well. Practice will help ensure that your breathing gets better." Rotxo spoke.
"Yes, practice as much as you can." Tsireya added, removing her hand from Lo'ak. As they all stood up and said their goodbyes, Dom left Neteyam's side to find Lo'ak. She purposely bumped into his side, a large grin evident on her face.
"Don't say it." He groaned.
"You've got a crush!" Dom sang.
"Stop!" Lo'ak playfully shoved her. Dom shook her head, shoving him back.
"My baby bro is growing up." Neteyam added, wiping a fake tear as he caught up with them. Dom laughed, enjoying the annoyed look on Lo'ak's face.
"Oh like your one to talk." Lo'ak shoved Dom again, a grin on his face.
"Shut up!" Dom's grin disappeared.
"Wait who do you have a crush on?" Neteyam asked.
"No one!" A blush was quickly growing on Dom's face, peaking Neteyam's interest.
"I don't think I believe you." He replied as they entered the hut. Seeing an opportunity to end the conversation, Dom rushed to assist Neytiri with cutting fruit.
Lo'ak grinned at his brother before their father called them over to help him cut up the fish. Neteyam spared one last glance at Dom, hoping to continue their conversation later.
