Olivia felt empowered after telling Keith off. Since their divorce, Olivia tried her hardest to be nice or at least not a complete bitch to him for the sake of their boys. But now that he had nothing to do with Jackson and Landon, and he wasn't Marley's father, she felt like telling him off was the right thing to do.
"So, how was school?" Olivia asked once she got the kids into the home after picking them up. Avery had scrubbed her hands clean and changed her clothes before sitting down on the couch and holding Marley.
"I'm sleepy," Landon admitted, as he yawned loudly and climbed onto Elliot's recliner.
"If you need a nap, baby, go ahead," Olivia smiled softly.
She walked over and laid a blanket over her little boy, before leaning down and kissing his curls. She turned to face Avery and Jackson, who were both looking at Marley.
"What about you two?" Olivia asked.
"I had fun! We got to go outside during gym and play kickball!" Jackson exclaimed.
"Did you do good?"
"Yeah! I kicked the ball super far and ran to all the bases! Can I play with Elliot tonight?" Jackson mused, and Olivia chuckled softly.
"Maybe. He is going to be tired tonight, and might not be home until after dark. But we will see."
Olivia got a full update on school from her eldest two and got a recap of Landon's day at the dinner table. After chores were completed and homework was checked, all four kids took baths and Olivia put them to bed.
"Why is Daddy so late?" Avery asked. Olivia frowned deeply, her own heart feeling heavy with worry for her boyfriend.
"I don't know, baby. He's probably just busy, as it is his first day," Olivia replied softly. Avery nodded, before pulling her blankets back. She climbed into her bed, before taking Marley into her arms for one last snuggle.
"I hope he doesn't get caught up in work all the time..."
"What?" Olivia whispered. Avery leaned down and kissed Marley's forehead, before passing her hesitantly back to Olivia.
"When he was deployed, I didn't get to see him that much. I love my daddy and want him around, especially because of Marley... And the boys don't see their own father anymore," Avery breathed. Olivia reached her free hand out and smoothed her hair for a long moment.
"I'm going to give him a call. Get some sleep, and I'll send him in once he's home."
"Okay... Night, Mama. I love you," Avery said with a sad smile.
"I love you too, AJ. By the way, I love being your mama," Olivia spoke. Avery gave Olivia bright smile, before rolling onto her side.

Olivia grew anxious as the night went on. Elliot's phone kept going to voicemail almost as soon as she called. At midnight, Olivia called the precinct to see if Cragen could get ahold of anyone at the FBI.
"Manhattan SVU, this is Captain Cragen."
"Hey, Don. It's Liv."
"Benson? Why are you calling so late? Is your baby keeping you up?" Cragen said with a chuckle. Olivia looked down at where Marley was sleeping swaddled on Elliot's side of the bed.
"No, sir. Marley is sleeping, but I can't shut my mind off. Uh, Elliot won't pick up his phone and he was supposed to be home by eight. I don't have any contacts at the office here in town, so I was wondering if you knew anyone?"
"He works as a guard now for the FBI, right?" Cragen asked.
"Yeah, and it's his first day. I feel like something is wrong, but I don't have anything to justify that feeling. Would you be-"
"Liv, there are a few agents that we used to work with. Maybe one of them can help."
"Don, what if he's hurt?" Olivia whispered. If something happened to Elliot, Avery would be shipped back to Virginia to stay with Christine. It would completely split their family up.
"Don't get morbid until you have a reason to. Now, try to relax. I'll make some calls and get back to you soon."

Cragen didn't call her back. He came to the house with Amanda in tow. Olivia was confused, but was instructed to get dressed and go with Cragen. Amanda was going to stay with the kids and make sure they got to school in the morning.
"What happened?" Olivia whispered as she went through her pumping bag to ensure she had everything.
"Something happened at the field office today. That is all I know, and that is all Dana was willing to tell me."
Olivia turned quickly and looked at her boss with wide eyes.
"Dana? Don c'mon. Why her?"
"She's a friend of the squad. I know she's trouble, but she was the only one to answer my call."
Olivia kept looking out the window as she tried to figure out what might have happened. Was Elliot shot? Taken? What?
As they arrived at the office, police tape blocked it off and the area was lit by enormous lights. Olivia fought off tears as she slowly climbed from the sedan and followed her captain to the tape.
"I'm sorry, but the-" An agent started, but he stopped when Dana came up behind him.
"They are with me, Grant. Head back," Dana spoke. The man nodded as Dana lifted the tape and let them under.
"What the hell happened?" Olivia demanded.
"Cragen said one of our new guards was your boyfriend?"
"Was?!" Olivia squeaked, as her heart pounded in her chest.
"Sorry, is. Benson, a man ran his car into the building this morning. Three of our guards were hit and rushed to the hospital."
"Elliot Stabler... He's my boyfriend. Where is he?" Olivia asked, as tears blurred her vision.
"Uh, give me a moment."
Dana left them standing near the tape as Cragen wrapped his arm around Olivia's waist. During their wait, Olivia's phone rang. She slowly pulled it from her pocket before answering it.
"Hello?" Olivia choked out.
"Olivia."
"W-who is this?" Olivia sniffled.
"Christine. Elliot is in the hospital, but you aren't here!"
"I didn't know he was in the hospital! God, just tell me where he is!"
