Frodo:
Frodo is a very outgoing person so he makes a great first impression the moment he met them. Neither you or him had doubts about Frodo meeting your family. Overall they loved him how funny and outgoing he was and he wasnt afraid to express how he felt

Sam:
At first your family wasnt too thrilled with him at first, he was shy and not very talkative but they slowly eased up and realized he was great. He made dinner for all of you and they liked how well he cooked, and once they saw how well he treated you with small gestures and words they didnt have much of a problem

Merry:
Merry didnt quite make the first impression as expected, your family knew he was always getting into trouble and they didnt think he was very good for you at first. It took a couple of meets for them to realize he wasnt so bad for you as they saw how comfortable you two were with each other

Pippin:
Like merry, he didnt make a great first impression. Again they knew how much trouble him and merry caused around the shire and they didnt exactly approve of it. They didnt like how clumcy or how empty headed he was but their hearts softened when they saw how much pippin tried for you and after a while they decided to give him a chance

Legolas:
He was SO nervous to meet your family, his dad always had high expectations of him and expected the most out of him so he thought your family would be the same and if he didnt make the right impression they wouldnt like him. But they accepted Legolas with open arms and made him feel wlecome and he got very comfortable

Bilbo:
He whined and complained about having to meet your family because he doesnt like having company over but he accepted the fact he wasnt getting out of it. Your family wanted to hate him and find some way to not like him but they couldnt, he was kind and was being the best gentleman he could to them he was like the perfect guy, the second they left the door he groaned and walked away.
