POV of Felix
After resting, I discovered myself tied up when I looked around I saw Morgan and Jason also tied up. Why were we tied up? I was not stopping asking myself that question but with no answer. All the villagers surrounded the place, a man who seems old looking at the way he was it seems he was the king of the village. He told us that he knows about our plan to go in search of the book of life but he can't let it happen

My heart raced as I struggled against the ropes binding me, desperately trying to make sense of the situation. The old man, who appeared to be the village king, stood before us with an air of authority. His eyes bore into mine, filled with a mix of curiosity and suspicion.

"Why can't you let it happen?" I managed to ask, my voice trembling with a mix of fear and confusion. The king's gaze remained fixed on me, as if assessing my worthiness.

"The Book of Life is a sacred artifact," the king spoke with a grave tone, his voice carrying a weight of centuries. "It holds immense power and knowledge that should not be tampered with by outsiders."

I exchanged worried glances with Morgan and Jason, silently communicating our shared concern. We had come so far, risking our lives in search of this fabled book, and now we were faced with the possibility of failure.

"But we only seek to bring our love ones back," Morgan interjected, her voice filled with determination. "We believe the book can help us understand the mysteries of our world and bring them back to life."

The king's expression softened slightly, his eyes reflecting a hint of understanding. "Knowledge can be a dangerous weapon in the wrong hands," he replied, his voice tinged with caution. "The Book of Life holds secrets that could alter the fabric of our existence. We cannot allow it to fall into the wrong hands."

I could sense the weight of responsibility in his words, the burden he carried to protect his people from potential harm. It was a conflict of interests, our desire to bring our love ones back to life clashing with his duty to safeguard his kingdom.

"We mean no harm," Jason spoke up, his voice filled with sincerity. "We are willing to prove ourselves, to show that we can be trusted with the knowledge contained within the book."

The king's gaze shifted to Jason, studying him intently. After a moment of silence, he nodded slowly, as if contemplating our plea. "Very well," he finally said. "But you must understand that the path to the Book of Life is treacherous. Only those who are truly worthy can reach it."

Relief washed over us, but it was quickly replaced with a renewed sense of determination. We had to prove ourselves, show the king that we were worthy of the knowledge we sought. Our adventure was far from over.

As the villagers untied us, the king issued a warning. "Proceed with caution," he said, his voice filled with wisdom. "The path ahead is fraught with danger, but if you prove yourselves, the Book of Life may reveal its secrets to you."

Justin and Nina, two villagers who helped us since we were in that village , approached us with warm smiles and bags filled with provisions. Their hospitality touched our hearts, and we gratefully accepted their generous offerings.

"Thank you so much," Morgan expressed her gratitude, her voice filled with genuine appreciation. "Your kindness means the world to us."

Justin nodded, his eyes filled with empathy. "We understand the importance of your quest," he said. "While the king may be cautious, we believe in your intentions. Take these supplies, and may they sustain you on your journey."

Nina chimed in, her voice gentle and reassuring. "Be careful out there," she said. "The forest can be unforgiving, but with your determination and the knowledge you seek, I believe you have a chance."

We exchanged heartfelt smiles with Justin and Nina, feeling a renewed sense of support from the villagers. Their encouragement fueled our determination, reminding us that we were not alone in our quest.

As we packed the food supplies into our bags, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the kindness and trust we had encountered. It was a reminder that even in the face of challenges, there were people who believed in our purpose and were willing to support us.

With our provisions secured, we bid farewell to Justin and Nina, promising to return one day to share our experiences and the knowledge we hoped to uncover. As we ventured deeper into the forest, the weight of their generosity and the belief they had placed in us propelled us forward.

The journey ahead would be arduous, but with the provisions from Justin and Nina, we felt a renewed energy and determination. The forest stretched out before us, its mysteries waiting to be unraveled.

With each step, we carried the warmth of the villagers' hospitality in our hearts, knowing that their support would guide us through the challenges that lay ahead. We were determined to prove ourselves worthy of their trust and to uncover the secrets hidden within the Book of Life.

And so, with our bags filled with provisions and our spirits lifted by the kindness we had encountered, we continued our journey through the forest, ready to face whatever awaited us.

As we ventured deeper into the forest, the weight of our purpose hung heavy in the air. We knew the dangers that awaited us, but our determination burned brighter than ever. With the village king's warning echoing in our minds, we pressed forward, ready to face the unknown and uncover the secrets that lay hidden within the Book of Life.
