PREVIOUS SECRET (OC x Miguel O'Hara)

Incident

Samuela finishes cleaning the house.
It's now 8pm.

"Let's get ready for bed, mis niños!" she shouts from the kitchen.

She walks over to the window that's facing their garden.
The kids are hiding behind a tree while giggling.

Sam laughs to herself.
"C'mon get inside now!"

"I told you she would see us." Mario sighs as he walks towards his mother.

"She only saw us because of her spider-tingel." Maria sighs too as she tries to catch up with her brother.

"Yeah, it was my spider-tingel that told me you guys were there." Samuela lies.

"Ha! Told you so!" Maria laughs at Mario before walking up the stairs.

Mario chases after her.

"Don't run up the stairs, cariño!" Samuela says to him.

He sighs and slows down before starting to power walk up the stairs.

Sam follows him with a smile on her face.

The kids brush their teeth as their mother watches.
Samuela tucks them in and kisses their forehead goodnight.

"Love you guys. Sleep well." she turns off the light and heads downstairs.

Sam sits down on the couch and watches some TV.
Eventually Miguel arrives home through a portal.

He has wounds across his body.

"Oh my. What happened?" Sam stands up and helps him to the couch.
Even if she's mad at him, she would still help him.

"It's.... that fucking Green Goblin guy... He escaped and I had to catch him." he whimpers as she cleans his wound.

"You caught him?"

Miguel shakes his head no.
"He disappeared into one of Spot's portals." he winces in pain.

"Spot? I thought we caught him ages ago?" Sam asks confused as she stitches his wound close.

"Yeah. He is till locked up, but opened a portal near Goblin and he vanished into it. Noone knows how Spot did it." he squints his eyes in pain.

Miguel looks at her.
Samuela looks up to him to check if he's okay.
They make eye contact.

"I'm sorry. I'm a horrible father. It's just.... I don't even know why I'm like this to him." he tries to explain himself as he leans his head back into the couch cushion.

Sam puts away her medkit.
"You're not a horrible father. You just have to give him the attention he needs.... and be the father role he wants."

"I know and I will change, I swear. I'll change myself for him and you.... I still lo-"

BANG

Miguel got interrupted by a insanely loud explosion outside.

"What the fuck was that!?" Sam says concerned.

She puts on her suit.
He puts his mask back on.

Suddenly both of their spider-tingel go off.

"It's coming towards us. Take the children and hide." Miguel commands.

"What about you!?" she says even more concerned.

"Please just go..." Miguel swings outside.

She runs upstairs.
The children were on one bed and under the covers.

"Mamá? Papá?" Maria asks still under the covers obviously scared.

"It's me. We have to get to the basement quickly! C'mon!" she grabs the children.

Sam throws one over each of her shoulders and runs to the basement.
She puts them on the floor.

"Guys. Please please please promise me to stay here. Your safe here, as long as you stay put, okay?" Samuela forces a smile onto her face to comfort them.

"But Mamá..." Mario cries.
The children are both crying and shaking in fear.

"Please. Just stay here." she says as she gives each one of them a kiss on the cheek and runs outside.

The first thing she sees was Miguel getting thrown around by the Green Goblin.

"Ohhh the wife has arrived..." the Goblin smiles.

Sam shoots a web at him.
He catches it almost immediately.
Miguel eventually get a hold of a wall nearby.

"I told you to stay inside!" he shouts.

Samuela and Miguel try their best to fight the Green Goblin and get injured while doing so.

Suddenly they hear a soft small voice behind them.
"Mamá, are you okay?"
It was Mario.
He left the basement and what standing outside on the street in front of their house.
"Mario! Get ins-"
Samuela gets interrupted by the Green Goblin throwing several bombs at their house.
Their house blows up in a matter of seconds.

Mario gets thrown further away by Miguel's web.

Samuela ties up the Goblin who's laughing like a maniac.

Their house wasn't a house anymore.
It was ashes.
The houses around them on fire.
Tears fall down Miguel's face as he realised.....
Maria was still inside.

"MARIA! MARIA! AY NO. POR FAVOR. NO." he shouts as he lifts up pieces of their house to find her.

Samuela crying too as she swung herself to Mario.

"Baby. Are you okay? Please tell me your fine." she cries louder.

Mario nods.
It's clear that he is injured badly.

Miguel looks through the ashes like a maniac.
"PLEASE! MARIA! PLEASE! COME OUT! IT'S NOT FUNNY ANYMORE!" he shouts as his tears become more and more.

Samuela walks over to him.
She puts a hand on his shoulder.
"Miguel.... MIGUEL!" she shouts as he doesn't stop looking for his daughter.

"Maria... she's... she's gone..." he cries into his hands.

Samuela hugs him from behind crying too.

Miguel cries before standing up.
"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD HER TO COME OUT!" he yells as he points at Mario.
Miguel's eyes red in anger.

"HIS FAULT!? IF THERE'S ONE TO BLAME IT'S THE GOBLIN!" Samuela yells at Miguel.

Miguel turns to her.
"He killed her." he walks to Mario.

Mario on the floor crying and injured.
Miguel lifts him up by his neck.

"ERES LOCO!???" Samuela yells as she pushes Miguel onto the floor.
"YOUR FUCKING INSANE!! HE DIDN'T KILL HER! IT WAS THE GOBLIN! COME TO YOUR FUCKING SENSES! ESTÚPIDO!" she yells as she picks up her crying son.
She opens a portal and disappears into it with Mario.

Miguel sits on the floor.
Tears fill his eyes again.
He lays down and cries.
He cries over his dead daughter.
Miguel feels guilty that he couldn't save her.
Guilty that she had to die alone and scared.
But he also felt anger.
Angry that Mario didn't help her.
Angry that Samuela told them to stay downstairs.

(hi guys quick lil chapter. im feeling a bit better but still not so amazing. ill maybe update the other storys or this one in the next couple of days but please dont expect anything since im not sure. anyway i hope you liked this chapter because i didnt it feels very rushed to me but i thought id feed you guys xoxo alice)
