*♡~Ch.15 - Talk Too Much~♡*

Jackie POV:

OH. MY. GOD, I thought, panicking. WHY DID I DO THAT, WHY DID I DO THAT, WHY DID I DO THAT!

I skated through the hallways, rushing to get to class before the bell, and trying to ignore my churning stomach. I got to class just before the bell. Our teacher started ranting about some math concepts that I had memorized ages ago, but I tuned her out. My heart fluttered as my mind returned to the events of this morning.

I thought I saw her blush... Maybe she does like me after all! I'm going to ask her. I can't! There's no way! What if she doesn't like me? Then she'll never want to be friends with me and I'll be all alone-

"JACKIE!" I was shaken from my thoughts as our teacher yelled my name.

"Uhm, yes miss?"

"Finally. What's the answer to number seven? Unless you didn't do the homework?"

I had to hold myself back from scoffing at the idea of me not doing my homework. She knows how much of a good student I am. I confidently answered, "There is no answer, miss."

The class erupted with laughter until they realized that the teacher said that I was correct. "Jackie, could you please elaborate? Since your classmates don't seem to understand," she said, shooting a glare toward the particularly rowdy group of students.

As soon as the bell rang, I rushed out of the classroom so I could finally go home. But suddenly, someone grabbed my arm. They pulled me into a dark room and slammed the door, locking me in.

A/N: I thought I'd do a nice cliffhanger here for you! >:) Sorry that I haven't been posting as much as I said I would... I'm planning on getting ahead and posting every Sunday!
