Whitefish Lake
Whippersnapper, New Hampshire
Lois was fishing at Whitefish Lake. She waded deep into the lake, with her tall, black rubber boots, with her light blue jean shorts. She had no luck catching any fish. Whitefish Lake was the most popular fishing spot in all of New Hampshire, yet there was hardly any fish.
Water crept into Lois's boots, the bottom of her feet, feeling the damp sensation. Her boots were now waterlogged.
Lois out of the lake, and sat down on a nearby bench, to take off her boots, and pour the water out. She put her boots back on her bare feet, as she left her sandals at home.
Her boots always turned into a river.
