To Ethan: you can't do that. you can't stop being my friend for a year and then appear again and spend time with me and tell me that i'm beautiful and make me fall for you and then just disappear again and leave me hanging and then probably come back, saying you can't be with me

From Ethan: You're the one who knows best how much of a mess I am. Ever since I met you I started wanting to stop being one. And I still am. I don't want to be selfish and have you when you can't handle me

To Ethan: ethan, i can always "handle" you. stop seeing yourself as a problem!!!

To Ethan: you know what, screw you. if you really think you can disappear for five months and then come back and have me, you're ridiculous. i'm not yours, you know? you can't expect me to wait here like a dog. you can't break my heart and then come back whenever you want to fix it

From Ethan: You're right. You're not mine. And I agree, your heart shouldn't be broken in the first place. So maybe we shouldn't be.
