"You're telling me that the girl you have been in love with your whole life is April Reyes. Yet you haven't seen her since your break up three years ago?" Charles asks pacing back and forth in the living room while the rest of his friends are sitting trying to comfort Lando the best they can. Lando quietly breathes out a response "Yes and somehow you guys met her." Lando is still in shock that after all these years she was back at their course. That's part of the reason he didn't want to go with his friends today.

April had begged Lando to let her take him to a golf course so she could finally teach him how to play the sport that mattered so much to her. He knew that this meant a lot to her so as she begged for what felt like the fiftieth time since they had met, he couldn't say no looking into her puppy dog eyes. She didn't even have to ask if she looked at him like that he would have said yes to whatever she wanted in the world again and again.

Lando had started to get the hang of this sport, and April could not have been more proud of him. She always had a smile adorned her face the whole time that day. When they had reached the final hole of the day Lando decided to get confident. "If I putt my ball in one, you have to kiss me," Lando says cheekily as he walks past April to his ball. She laughs while shaking her head, they never stopped making bets with each other, it was their thing. "Fine but if you miss then you buy me ice cream." They both agree to these terms as Lando tries to line up his putt. April secretly was hoping he would make this putt but didn't want to admit it to Lando as he would never let her live it down.

Lando's hands were shaking as he was getting ready to putt the ball. He has been wanting to kiss her for so long now but just hasn't had enough courage to. As he finally taps his ball it slowly makes its way to the hole going in. Lando jumps up with surprise and runs around the green celebrating as April laughs at his celebration. "Congratulations Lando you have won the bet, and may I say that was a great putt," April says as she walks over to the boy. "I mean I did have a pretty good teacher." He replies smiling down at the girl who has taken up so many of his thoughts since he met her. " Now I think you.." Lando is cut off by April as she grabs the collar of his shirt and stands up on the tips of her toes to connect their lips.

That course always had a special place in her heart, so every time she was home she would play there to reminisce on one of her favorite memories. Now she was a week later not ready to see him again.

Her manager had told her that sky sports wanted her to interview drivers at the SilverStone grand prix this weekend. She thought about saying no, but she knew she couldn't. April was the it girl of golf right now as she was the top contender to win the GPA World Tour this year, making her the only woman to ever win it if she accomplishes it this year. She was all over the media right now, she was doing interview after interview right now. So she wasn't surprised when Sky Sports asked she just didn't know if she would be able to face Lando after all these years.

Even after the breakup with Lando, she watched every race of his. She was his number one supporter whether or not he knew it. So as she looked at herself in the mirror preparing for the weekend in front she knew it was time. She just didn't know that if she saw him again she would be able to stay away from him again.
