April knew she shouldn't have looked at the comments under the post about her but curiosity got the best of her she wanted to know what people genuinely thought. The comment section was littered with comments about how she should stick to the women's league or if she's not good enough. She did see a couple of her fans trying to show support but it was outnumbered by the hate comments. April always said it never affected her and she would just prove them wrong but she felt like she was back to being a little girl told to leave the course and go play with Barbie's.

April was always doubted from a young age, she tried not to let it affect her game but sometimes it was all too much. Her dad would always tell her that actions speak bigger than words and that these people are just jealous of her skill. April knew there was so much on the line for her first match no matter how she did everyone was watching just waiting for her to slip up and prove the haters right.

April decided to call her parents to tell them about the post. Her parents told her not to listen to the stupid comments and just play her own game tomorrow. She hasn't talked to her parents in a while so it was nice to catch up she told them how she saw Lando again for the first time in years. Oh, how her parents loved that boy they always hoped they would meet each other and get married. Hearing this news about them seeing each other made them root even harder for them to get together again. Her parents knew that Lando adored their daughter and would give her the world, and no man could beat his love for her. They just wanted what was best for their daughter.

Hours had passed since the call, she was in her head and couldn't escape. She was curled up in a tight ball shaking on her couch not moving. She was a mess, nerves were the only feeling she felt, as the hours crept by getting closer and closer to her first PGA match. The only comfort she had was her dog Finn who could tell something was off with his owner.

Lando had seen the stupid post and thought it was complete bullshit that they would even post something like that. How could they question her talent, she was an amazing golfer, especially for her age. Lando was furious, he never understood why people thought it was necessary to post things like that. He was used to this as well as an f1 driver people would always question their skills. Lando knew that April was probably doubting herself the night before her big match. No matter how big the match was April would always get nervous, and he knew that this was one of her biggest matches yet. Lando knew she was all alone and had to cheer her up, he knew exactly what to do.

Before every match, Lando would go to April's the night before to make sure she wasn't freaking out with nerves. It was a tradition of theirs as Lando knew about April's issues with anxiety, especially about golf. Lando would always bring over burgers usually from McDonald's and they would bake brownies. Except this time April was so stressed out she completely forgot.

April was trying her best to calm her nerves, she has her biggest match yet tomorrow which could determine whether or not she would be considered or not for next year's LPGA Tour making her the youngest ever.

Taking April out of her thoughts she heard the doorbell ring and wondering who it could be she thought maybe her parents came to see her to calm her nerves. To her surprise, she saw her boyfriend holding a bag of McDonald's and brownie mix with a huge smile. April was confused as to why Lando was there. " April I know how stressed out you get before matches and I know how big this one is to you. So I came to help calm you down. I mean it is tradition for us to eat burgers and make brownies before a match." Lando said with a sweet smile, he was dying to just drop everything in his hands and grab her. Instead, she was the one to close the distance and hug the boy tight, this was what she needed before a match like this one.
