Waking up hungover was not something April was used to and was not a fan of the feeling, especially when it was 8 a.m. Rubbing her eyes she turned to snuggle back into her bed and forget about the interviews she had to attend to after her win yesterday. As she turned she noticed a note with water and a bottle of Advil. She slowly reached to grab the note and read that Lando had taken her back home last night put her to bed and took care of Finn. April smiled down at the note, as she lightly traced over his handwriting remembering the little notes they would leave to each other when they were younger. After reading his note and taking the Advil April went to get out of bed but slipped on a pillow and blanket laid next to her bed. She realized Lando had stayed the night to make sure she was okay.

After eating a quick bowl of cereal and feeding Finn April was out the door and on her way to her interview with one of the local golf stations. Arriving at the studio April couldn't wipe the smile off her face still believing that she won, she had beaten all those men, everyone who doubted her. She was finally reaching her dreams after all the years of people thinking she wasn't good enough, yet she was getting her makeup done for a PGA tour interview. As she was getting her makeup done she quickly sent a text to Lando thanking him for everything he did last night. After her makeup was finished she was rushed over to the set where the interviewer was waiting.

"My name is Ryan and I will be interviewing yesterday's champion from the PGA match, none other than the very own April Reyes. Now April why don't you tell us a little about your golfing history." "Lovely to meet you Ryan and I would be happy to! Yesterday was my first ever time playing in a PGA match as I was invited to the tour this year making it my first. I am the first woman on this tour and the first winner as well. I have played golf my entire life and worked my way up till I got here." "Wow, it is truly amazing how much you have accomplished in your career for your age!" April couldn't help but feel proud of herself as she heard someone else acknowledge her talents. "As a woman in this sport, what difficulties have you faced?" April should have known it was too good to be true, especially now that she is playing at a higher level. She was always asked questions about her age or gender which made her seem weak. Why for once could they not just focus on her actual skills for the game?

The interview continued in this way making sly jabs and comments towards her until the interviewer made one last statement. "When we had asked the other golfers what they thought of your victory Rory Mcilroy had said that it was just beginners luck, do you have a response to this?" April felt fumes radiating off her as she heard this comment, how could he say that after she had just beaten him in front of the entire world? She always tries to keep a brave face especially since she was in front of millions all the time, yet it became harder and harder with the comments. Looking around the studio she felt stares from everyone as they were waiting for her response "Well I didn't know beginner luck would land me a trophy so I would say it's just more of my skills." April replied looking the interviewer dead in the eyes making it known she was not having any of this.

The interview quickly ended after a couple more questions and April quickly left the studio needing to be alone after hearing what Rory had to say about her. On her drive home, she heard a text come through as she just needed to crawl in her bed with Finn and forget about the interview.

OMG OVER 1k READS HOLY SHIT!!! Thank you guys sorry for not updating I just got back to school and have been busy with everything and am hoping to update more again but it just not be as often. Sorry this chapter isn't the best and a little short I just had writers block and wanted to get something out for you guys!
