My father never talked a lot.
Orion Black stood still, emotionless and wordless as 13 year old Lydia was brutally tortured by her mother with the Crucias Curse.
He just took a walk around the block
Orion was never usually here for his kids while they grew up. He mostly was at work, walking down the street pretending to be busy and at Diagon Alley.
'Till all his anger took a hold of him
Whenever he was home, Mr Black yelled at his kids for the slightest mistakes and mess ups that happened. He tried to raise them to be perfect- like him.
And then he'd hit
Whereas, there would be days Orion would get so angry with his children, he himself would either hit them or Crucio them.
Their children never cried a lot. They took the punches but never fought.
The three Black children, Lydia, Sirius and Regulus were taught that crying was weak and that they should never be saw as weak.
'Till one said "I'm leaving and I'll take my Siblings." So they did
Sirius was the one to suggest leaving. Lydia obliged but was worried about Regulus, who refused to come with them.
