It's been 3 weeks, 3 days, and 6 hours. Throughout my recovery I've been limited to staying in my dorm and only going out to the Med Bay so Lex can check up on me. In reality the only humane contact I've had is Lex when I go to see her, and my roommate Annabella. Bella is around my age. She's 23, and besides Lex, she's my best friend. She is a very spontaneous person. It's crazy how many hair colors she's been through. Currently she has faded dark purple hair. Before that she had it pink. Bella also has brown eyes and has a total of 4 piercings not counting her earrings. She has a double piercing on her ears, an eyebrow piercing, and a nose ring. She insists I get a nose piercing, and I might soon, but I don't want to currently.
I get out of bed and I walk out of my room, only using one crutch, and I walk into my bathroom. Lex said I can start walking with only one crutch now after the second week, seeing as I am getting better quickly. I hop into the shower and I quickly wash my hair and shave my legs. I get out and I grab the towel hanging on the wall, wrapping it tightly around my body. I grab hold to the crutch and head back to my room. I walk into my closet and I change into some simple gray sweatpants, and a pink oversized sweater in front of my full body mirror. I grab my hair dryer and plug it in, setting it down on my counter next to the mirror. I quickly brush the tangles out then dry my hair. I slip the hair tie off my wrist and do a single braid down the back. Officially tomorrow is the last day where I have to use crutches, and I am free to go anywhere. The pain in my shoulder and ribs are completely gone, but still moving them hurts just a tiny bit.
I step away from my mirror and walk down the hall when I hear the dorm phone ring. I quickly rush to the kitchen and pick it up.
"Hello, Bella isn't here right now" I say politely.
"Oh no that's fine, I'm looking for a Iyella?" A male voice. It sounded familiar but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.
"Yes this is her" I replied, a little hesitation in my voice.
"It's me...Ross" he paused and then I got it. It was the boss's assistant. "Sebastion is wondering if you're up for a function" Sebastian was the boss. He was the one in charge of everyone's operations. "How are you doing by the way?" Ross asked.
"I'm good, yeah" I nodded my head even though I knew he couldn't see me. I leaned back resting against the wall behind me. "Obviously I've been better but I'm able to move a lot more and all the pain is basically gone". I could hear Ross hum in agreement.
"That's great to hear". There was a long pause before Ross decided to speak again. "If you would just head down to Sebastian's office he wasn't to speak with you"
"Will do" I spoke softly, then hung up, setting the phone back up on its charging stand. Finally I would be able to get out of this shit hole, and do something. I left my crutch near the front door, and decided to practice walking without it. I made it to my room and swiftly changed into some baggy denim pants paired with a black tube top. I headed out of my dorm and down the elevator to the 1st floor. The lobby.

I walked out and was immediately greeted by a very loud TV hosted up on the left wall with a blond woman in the center. I've heard the beginning of the recording thousands of times but never really heard it completely.
"Hello! My name is Lidia Ochoa, and I am the founder of the Revolution Of Social Entropy" R.O.S.E. I quircked my head to the side, already knowing the name of the business. This is usually the most I'd hear before turning the corner up ahead and everything else being muffled. "Here we specialize in training young minds to eliminate threats. You must be wondering, 'why did you pick me'. The answer is: cause we've been watching you." That totally wasn't creepy at all. "We have watched how to deal with problems in your life and see the potential you hold. Here we don't let anyone go unnoticed." The screen went blank and then it started again. "Hello! My name is..." I walked away turning the corner as always passing by all the desks facing the right wall. If the TV by the elevator was big, this one right here was humongous. It showed the world with dots on certain areas, showing where some of the agents are. I kept walking and walked up the 3 steps leading into Sebations office. His office was closed off by soundproof glass walls. He had a desk in the middle of the room, and his own coffee maker on the counter behind his desk.
"Oh Iya '' He announced, standing up from his desk, with a big smile on his face. "How good it is to see you," he added, sticking his hand out. I shook his hand and he nodded. We both sat back down and he studied me. "How are you feeling? I heard about the incident"
"I'm really good actually, no pain" I returned the smile. I wasn't going to mention the little bit of pain I was feeling because with a few medications it would go away completely in a few days. I hope.
"That's fantastic because we have a function we need you to go" He looked away from me and onto his computer, typing in something before turning the screen my way. "There is an auction in Italy in 2 days where this necklace..." he clicks the screen with his mouse and it shows the next picture of a beautiful gold necklace with blue crystals embroidered on it. "There's talk of it trying to be stolen, and melted down and used in some sort of weapon. What kind of weapon? We don't know yet but as soon as we figure it out we'll let you guys know" Sebastian turned the screen back away from me and I nodded.
"Ok so just...wait, guys?" I asked, catching onto the wording he used. "I'm not going alone?" I clarified.
"Oh of course not," Sebation chuckled. I didn't find it quite funny but I kept my mouth shut. Before I could ask who it was, I heard a knock on the door behind me, then the door being opened. I turned my head to see who entered and it was Howard. I was confused. Howard was a 'mind in training' as Sebastian liked to call all the trainees. I turned back to look at my boss. I mouthed the word 'what' but he was looking at Howard. I know the level of stake on the operation...I don't think I should be paired up with Howard.
"Ross told me to come see you?" Howard said timidly.
"Oh yes, but I am kind of in the middle of something so if you'd wait outside please" Sebastian redirected Howard and he nodded.
"Of course" Howard walked out, and I heard the door close behind him.
"So then who exactly would I be paired up with?" I asked my boss.
"That would be me" I know that voice. I turn around and see Rowan standing behind me. Of course. "Nice to see you're well again" He eyed me, and I rolled my eyes.
"Like you care" I muttered under my breath.
"Rowan I've already given you the details about the operation, all that's left is for you two to fly out tonight" Sebationed leaned forward, resting his forearms on his desk. "The rest of the details should arrive in your portfile when you arrive at your hotel. Any questions?"
"No sir" me and Rowan answered. This was going to be a trip.
(A/N: A little short but I felt like I should continue in the next chapter. Let me know if you guys want me to continue!!!)
