The Amazing Spider-Man of Young Justice (Season 1)

A Familiar Infiltrator

Oscorp Tower; August 7th; 22: 37 PM

Harry was in his business suit and was walking alongside his assistant. Both were in a hurry to his office. Once they entered, Harry pushed the doors open with a force. A group of guards were in the room, along with a tall man. One guard was holding a long silver container with a small glass patch on top of it to see what was in it. "You have it?" Harry questioned as he made it to stand in front of the tall man. The man was his butler, that helped with Harry to handle the business.

He nodded, "We do, sir. They only managed to acquire one." he replied.

Harry looked at the guard holding the container, "Is that it?" he asked. The guard nodded. Harry walked to the guard and held out his hands, wanting to see the thing the container was storing himself. The guard at first didn't and looked at Harry cautiously, to which Harry replied with a, "I'm not gonna open it. Don't worry." he added.

And with great hesitancy, the guard handed the container into Harry's hands. Harry let out a deep exhale and began breathing heavily from awe. The effort they put into this had to be worth it. And now... it was...

Harry looked inside the container and a smile grew as he saw a gooey black substance swirling around in the container as if it was... alive. Which it was.

Harry looked at his butler, "Get this into containment. What we found today will not leave this building." he said, to which the butler nodded. He then handed it back to the guard and dusted off his hand before pushing the guard away to the exit with excitement. The rest of the guards followed. Harry then snapped his fingers at his assistant and pointed at the guards, telling him to follow them to make sure nothing bad happened.

After they left, leaving Harry and his butler alone, Harry stretched out his face his his hand from pure joy, "You know how big this could be if we study this thing?" he asked the butler. The butler nodded with a smile as he put his hands behind his back. "I'm gonna tell Peter. He won't believe this... This is gonna change the world."

Mount Justice, Rhode island; August 8th; 9:58 EDT

Kaldur, M'gann, Dick, and Superboy all made their way out of the cave to the beach outside, all dressed in swimsuits, holding picnic lunch, a volleyball, and a bogey board. M'gann stretched her arms wide, "Hello, Megan!" she said before turning to the rest of the boys behind her, "We should hit the beach every day."

Robin smiled before lowering his head into his free hand, "But first, a moment of silence for our... absent comrades." he said in an empty voice.

M'gann dropped her head as well, "Poor Wally." she said.

"Yeah. Same for Pete." Kaldur added.

M'gann immediately looked up, "Wait what?" she asked, confused by Kaldur's comment. Dick and M'gann looked at each other, before laughing at Kaldur's comment.

He looked at them confusingly, "What is so funny?" he asked.

M'gann wiped away a tear from her laughter, "If you think Peter is miserable right no. You really don't know Peter."

Midtown High; August 8th; 9:59 AM

Peter and Harry were standing in their lab coats in front of 2 chemical flasks placed on a desk. Peter was breathing heavily as he held one flasks containing a purple substance over another flask containing a yellow substance. he needed to make sure he poured the right amount. If he poured even one milliliter more or less, this would fail. Harry was calming him down by rubbing his shoulder, "Come one, man. You can do this..." he said.

Peter then poured the substance and after a second, quickly stopped and the 2 stepped back with the flasks containing still a slight bit of the substance. After a bit of time, they waited... and waited... until finally... the chemical reaction happened.

The substance in the other container lit on fire with a green fire. Harry and Peter laughed before they cheered, along with most of the rest of the class of students behind them. The teacher clapped her hands as Peter and Harry shared a hug, "100 percent to Harry and Peter!" he yelled.

Peter and Harry separated and patted each other on the back before Peter commented, "I love school."

Back with the rest of the team,

Kaldur smiled, "I guess you might be right. But I do have one question. Why did Peter's school start so much earlier that all of the other schools in America?" he asked.

"Because of all the attacks that happened to the school and therefore being so many days without school, their whole schedule's messed up. Apparently things'll be fixed next year, but moving on now! Time to beach!" Dick yelled before he ran off into the sea.

The group all had fun in the large ocean. M'gann and Dick splashed water at each other as Kaldur stood out. If he were to join in on that fun, they'd have the short end of the stick on that one. Suddenly, Superboy jumped into the water with a cannonball, landing right between the 2 playing heroes. All of the heroes were drenched as M'gann was the only one that tried to dodge away playfully.

Back with Peter,

Peter, Harry, and MJ were laughing over their lunch and she playfully pushed Peter, who was sitting on her side. They were all having fun. 

Back with the team,

Hot dogs roasted on a grill that was sitting in the middle of the group. Robin picked one out with a fork and ate it just like that, in comparison to the rest of the team, that ate from a bun.

Back with Peter,

Peter and Harry were playing football/soccer on the field. Peter tried kicking the ball to Harry, but missed and fell to the ground. Flash rushed by with a laugh, "You alright, Parker?" he asked with a laugh. As much as Flash was trying to move on from being a bully, he still was a douche. 

Flash continued to run after the ball as Harry ran to Peter and crouched to him, "You alright?" he asked. 

Peter scoffed as he got back up, "As good as I'll ever be. Barely felt a thing. heh." he replied with an awkward chuckle. he really didn't feel a thing. 

Harry eyed him before he pointed at the ball, "We should probably help." he said. Peter chuckled again, "Right." he replied before they ran off.

Back with the team,

They were playing volleyball. Kaldur served the volleyball over the net. Superboy knocked it to M'gann to which she smacked it over the net to the other 2.

Back with Peter,

Peter and Harry were sitting on the edge of the school building, watching the sun. "One of the few times I'd ever appreciate school... " Harry said, to which Peter chuckled. Harry then decided to get right to the topic, "So... There's something we've found at Oscorp. It's really big, Pete. And I wanna show it to you. Tonight." harry told him as he looked at him.

Peter scoffed as he looked back at him, "If I didn't know any better, I would say you're about to confess your love for me." Peter joked. Harry laughed and playfully punched Peter's arm before they looked back at the sun.

"Just you wait, Pete. This thing could cure diseases, create the perfect human, recreate the super soldier serum like with Captain America. And you're gonna help me." Harry continued before the 2 shared a glance with a smile and looked at the sun, "This is gonna change the world... WE're gonna change the world..."

Back at the Mountain,

Spider-Man appeared from the Zeta Tube in his full suit. "Hey, it's about time you came!" he heard M'gann say. He then realized his team, along with Green Arrow and Batman, were standing in the center of the room and all staring at him. Kid Flash looked like he was headed for the beach while the rest were all in heir hero costumes. Then one new hero caught his eye. 

She was blonde and had a green suit on, similar to that of Green Arrow's. She also had a bow. In that split second, the girl's masked face reminded him of Gwen... Who was she?
