(Y/n) followed Toriel through the winding passages of the Underground. Solving puzzles and lucky in battles, most monsters seemed to be a little scared of him. If he did engage in a fight, he would say, "Hey, look at me. I'm bigger, stronger, and faster. Do you really want to fight me?" And usually, it worked. If not, he'd take the kind approach, just like Frisk did.

Feeling the warm atmosphere of Toriel's home was inviting, and he couldn't help but be touched by her kind nature. As they walked through the house, (y/n) took the opportunity to speak with Chara without anyone overhearing.

"Chara," he whispered softly, "what do you want from me? Why are you here?"

Chara smiled lightly, her eyes sparkling. "Oh, (y/n), you always ask the right questions. What do I want from you? Well, you could say I'm looking for something special."

(Y/n) furrowed his brow. "Something special? What do you mean?"

Chara playfully joked, "Your soul, of course."

(Y/n) raised an eyebrow. "My soul? Why my soul?"

Chara waved it off. "Oh, just thoughts, (y/n). Don't worry about it. Right now, there's still so much you need to find out."

(Y/n) sensed that Chara wasn't laying all her cards on the table, but he decided to trust that she would tell him everything in due time.

The grand fireplace in the center of the room illuminated it with a warm glow. Toriel invited (y/n) to sit down as she began to prepare tea.

"Please, make yourself comfortable, my child," Toriel said with a friendly smile.

(Y/n) sat down on one of the chairs, watching Toriel as she made the tea. He still felt overwhelmed by everything that had happened in the past few hours, but Toriel's friendly presence helped to calm him.

As they waited for the tea, (y/n) took another chance to speak with Chara. "Chara, I can sense that you know more than you're telling me. Why not just trust me with everything?"

Chara looked at him thoughtfully. "(Y/n), I have my reasons for keeping things to myself. And can't a girl have her secrets? But perhaps you'll find the answers as you continue to explore this world."

(Y/n) sighed softly. He knew he wouldn't get much more out of Chara, at least for now. He decided to focus on what lay ahead - a time in the Underground that he could use to learn more about this world and its inhabitants.

Finally, Toriel served the tea, and they sat together to chat. Toriel told (y/n) about the various monsters living in the Underworld and her role as a protector and mother figure for many of them.

During the conversation, (y/n) couldn't help but keep an eye on Chara. Her presence still held an air of mystery, and he couldn't shake the feeling that she had so much more to tell him.

Time passed, and (y/n) could feel himself slowly becoming at home in the Underground. The friendly conversations with Toriel helped him feel more at ease, and he was grateful to have someone he could trust in this unfamiliar world.

As he spent the day with Toriel, (y/n) felt motivated to learn even more about the Underworld and its secrets. And despite the unresolved questions that Chara brought with her, he couldn't help but look forward to the discoveries that lay ahead.
