Chapter 6: A Meal at Grillby's

After reaching the town of Snowdin, (y/n) decided to stop by Grillby's to get some food. He ordered a hamburger for himself and a chocolate milkshake for Chara. He knew Chara liked chocolate and hoped to surprise her with it.

As the food arrived, he noticed Chara drinking the milkshake without anyone else noticing. (y/n) couldn't help but wonder how she managed to drink a milkshake as a ghost. He decided to ask her about it later.

After finishing his hamburger, (y/n) made his way to the rabbit girl's inn to spend the night. As he lay down on the bed in his room, he decided to have one more conversation with Chara before falling asleep.

"Chara," (y/n) whispered, "do you think Frisk will show up? I wonder how she's doing."

Chara seemed thoughtful before responding. "Frisk hasn't fallen yet, but who knows what the future holds? And of course, she's doing well, it's Frisk."

(y/n) nodded before asking another question. "And how can you even talk to me and eat? You're a ghost, right?"

Chara chuckled softly. "I'm more powerful than you might think, (y/n). It might have something to do with your soul that allows me to reveal myself to you."

(y/n) glanced at the clock, realizing it was time to sleep. However, before he drifted off, he couldn't help but ponder Chara's words. He found it strange how intensely her presence lingered in his thoughts.

In the silence of the hotel room, he couldn't help but reflect on the feelings he seemed to be developing for Chara. He couldn't deny that he felt drawn to her, even though he understood how complex their relationship could be.

With these thoughts in mind, (y/n) eventually fell asleep, ready for the adventures that awaited him in the Underground.

P.S.: At Grillby's, (y/n) told Grillby that the bill was on Sans, and Chara had to laugh about it.
