Me, Lumine and Paimon had been walking for a while until finally reaching our destination. Wangshu Inn. I have to admit that im feeling kinda nervous since it might be a little tension left from the small argument i had earlier with Venti, Xiao, Zhongli and Ganyu..
Well here goes nothing. As we walk in i notice the receptionist lady standing there as we began walking towards her.
"Hello miss, we are here to visit Xiao." I said trying to sound as gentle and calm as possible.
"I see, may i ask for your names?" She asks sounding like a mother in some sort of way.
"Oh im Y/n L/n, and this is Paimon and lumine."
"Oh? So you are Y/n! When i go in to check up on Xiao i often find him mumbling your name or just simply practising some sort of lines before teleporting away, i assume its to go talk to you. Anyways its rather cute!"
"Oh really? How nice of him, i didnt think he thought that highly of me!"
"Haha well i suppose i shouldnt delay you any longer, here are they keys."
We gave the receptionist a small nod as we went upstairs towards the room. Honestly im pretty nervous about this, i mean would i be okay if someone just barged into my room without permission all the time? Probaly not. Well here goes nothing i suppose.
I knock on the door witing to see if anyone answers, but nobody opened the door. Lumine and Paimon were watching me with hopes of somebody opening the door. Well im sure Xiao wouldnt hate me if i walked in.
I opened the door and the room was empty, that sucks. Paimon sighed sadly and Lumine lightly frowned. That was until we heard someone speak.
"You could have just called instead of coming all this way, Y/n."
There was Xiao standing right by the doorway. How did he even get there?!
"Oh, Xiao..! You always pop up out of nowhere huh?"
"Oh so thats the almighty adeptus, He dosen't look like much to me! I could probaly beat him in a fight." Paimon said, looking as smug as ever. It made me giggle a bit but i didnt want to burst her ego bubble.
"And what creature may you be exactly, your don't look human nor adeptus. Also you would be wise not to underestimate my strength." Xiao said with his usual cold and monotonous tone.
The room turned silent as Paimon went to hide behind my back, i smirked as i knew she just realised what she has said.
"Well Xiao i was wondering if you could do us a favour-"
"You do not need to explain, i already know. I have also fixed the issue at hand. Ive spoken to Lady Nigguang. You have now no guilt to atone for." Xiao cut me off before i could even tell him anything.
How did he know that before we even spoke a word about it? Thats really creepy, but maybe its some sort of adeptus power..?
"Haha... I see..! Well thank you a lot! In that case we should really get going now!" I turned around to leave, so did lumine and paimon.
"Wait..!" Xiao exlaimed, his usual unbothered tone now into a tone of desperation and sadness. To say i was taken by suprise would be a understatement.
"My apologize i.. i didnt mean to act to childish. Now stay here y/n. You other two can leave. I do not wish for your precence here." He said. Paimon quickly dragged Lumine out of there by the hair before she got a say in it.
"Oh, did you need anything..? I'll help you with whatever i can!"
"No i just enjoy your presence around me, when your not here it feels like a crowd of demons ripping and tearing apart my soul.. So, stay close to me."
