Let Me Call You Mine

I never knew I fell so deep,

Deeper into the depths of this creep

Of a place called the material world,

That I forgot you, let you go,

Forever from my heart.

What a grave sin have I committed!

I don't even deserve a second of happiness,

I don't even deserve to live,

Without breathing Your Holy Name.

But guess what?

I've been doing that for the past few years,

Without a trace of guilt,

Without a trace of remorse.

Now that I've awakened,

I've realized You don't want me to suffer.

You have always loved me deeply,

So You wouldn't let me sleep in this gutter.

So, my dear Lord,

My dear Krsna,

I ask of You only one thing—

Let me serve You this lifetime,

Let me give You this life of mine,

In Your hands;

Let me call You mine.
