O Shyam!
You are the book that I desire to read,
You are the love that my heart always need,
You are the air that gives me life,
You are beauty that gives me delight,
You are the play that I want to see,
You are the player, with whom I always want to be,
You are the song that I want to sing,
You are the person that I want to dream; about,
You are my one and only route,
You are the sailor and I'm the ship,
You are the elegant walker,
And I'm dust in Your lotus feet,
You are pleasant sound that I desire to hear,
Again and again,
You are the embrace that I want to wear,
All the time!
You are the singer and I'm the flute,
You are the dancer and I'm the floor,
You are the only way, and the door
To my heart's fulfilment,
To me,
You are much, much more.
