I sat by my half open window, tilting my head up slightly as I let the breeze hit my face. It was refreshing and real and quite literally took my breath away as I struggled to breath for a moment. I cleared my throat and closed my eyes embracing the dark while cooling, flashes of broken images played in my mind jolting my eyes open before I was jumped scared by a knock at the door.

"Hey! I brought your things!" Tilly entered with a bag hoisted up to her head. I gulped and smiled at her as she walked towards my bed dumping the bag with a cocked brow.

"What's wrong you seem shaken? I didn't scare you did I? The nurse said I could just walk in." She explained as I shook my head sitting on top of the bed.
"Well I got your deodorant so you don't have an excuse to smell anymore!" She teased pulling them out the bag, she copped a couple for me which was nice.
"And I got you a little extra thing- don't say I'm not nice to you!" She rolled her eyes pulling out a magnum and a small bear.
"Aww thank you Tilly! I'll keep it forever I will!" I told her gazing at my items happily.
"I hope you're referring to the bear! That magnum won't last forever!" She chuckled as I kept smiling at the bear.
"Yeah the bear." I leaned over resting it on my pillow like it was sitting with us.

"I forgot one last thing- it's nothing big! I just didn't know if it be inappropriate or not! I just wanted a laugh!" She huffed pulling a get well soon card out of her bag. I grinned staring at it as she sighed with relief handing it to me.

"You like it?" She asked as I read the card placing it on my drawers.
"I love it Till- you're too good to me!" I told her as she got up shaking her head.

"Don't you dare Joe! It was only a gag gift! Sort of! Kind of!" She huffed holding her hips, her bag hitting off her thigh gently.
"Christ what time is it?! I had to park on double yellow lines- place is mobbed! Sorry I keep doing this to yah Joe but I'm gonna have to love yah and leave yah again!" She hugged me tight heading for the door.

"You better start eating that Magnum or it's gonna melt!" She told me before screaming as she was ran at.

"Sorry sorry! Didn't mean to frighten yah!" Campbell apologised to Tilly as she looked about ready to tether him.
"Joey you never told me you had a lady in here!" He smirked with his hands on his hips.
"She's my sister!" I smiled back at him.
"And I can see the resemblance!" He glanced back and forth between us.
"Foster sister!" Tilly spoke up.
"I canny see the resemblance!" He said shaking his head as Tilly and I chuckled before she gasped remembering about her car and waved us off.

"What's all that about?" Campbell asked as I undid the wrapper to my magnum.

"Double yellow lines." I said biting a bit of the chocolate off as Campbell awed and sat beside me on my bed.

"Did she get you that?" He asked as I nodded.
"And some roll on's too! And that teddy bear!" I nodded my head back referring to it.
"I wish I had someone like that! I mean I have Fergus! But he's only good if he doesn't get caught!" He sighed flopping down on my bed.

"Why were you running to my room anyways?" I asked as he gasped and bounced up.

"Thanks for that I almost forgot! I'm allowed out for a bit and I was wondering if you'd like to come out with Fergus, Francine, Rosalie and I!" He asked as I shrugged.
"I don't think I'd be allowed out- I just don't think they'd deem me safe out in public and especially since I'm new." I frowned.
"Ah shit your right! But I'm sure we can get you out! We could surround you like the romans used to do with their shields to protect themselves!" He bounced pretending he was holding a long shield.

"Or we could William Wallace it and charge out of their like we're running into battle!" I chuckled watching him, shaking my head.

"So- what'd you say! Good idea or what?!" He asked extending his arms out.

"Alright." I smiled as Campbell cheered excitedly.
"Aw- just you wait! Let me go get the other loonies and we can try this out!" He said running out my room and down the hall to the others.

"This is stupid." Francine stated as they huddled together, I was bent down shuffling my way to the door with them as they covered me.
"This is Brilliant!" Campbell exclaimed.
"He's going to get caught- I mean just look at Rosalie." Francine shook her head as Rosalie trailed slightly behind not wanting to touch anyone.
"He's not just so long as you don't blab to anyone- if Fergus can do it on his own then we can at least do our bit! and Rosalie come on- they're going to see him-!" Campbell sighed as we came to a stop, Isabel wandered over to them to unlock the door but paused for a moment.
"This is a new formation?" She spoke slowly looking at them, at our group, I gulped.

"Just trying out something new! New walking styles, new fashion, new huddles all that biz!" Campbell answered as Isabel hummed knowingly.
"Mind parting for me?" She asked as they all sighed, I stood up and they parted.

"I should've known- what was the plan?" Isabel asked crossing her arms amusedly.

"Campbell invited me out but since I'm new here we thought I wouldn't be allowed out so they tried to Roman turtle me out." I told her as she smiled.
"You could've just asked you know as much as I love theatrics-" she sighed unlocking the door.
"I'll turn a blind eye for now but don't you's be trying that again." She held the door for us and off we went downstairs.

"Oh and Joe!" She called out to me, I stopped halfway down the stairs and glanced back up at her.

"We should have some news for you when your back!" She said as I cocked a brow.
"What sort of news?" I asked.
"Just wait till your back- it's nothing serious." She said as I nodded soon heading down the rest of the steps following the others out.

I enjoyed my time outside despite running from the police back into St. Jude's, Campbell decided to do his own free broadcast of the Loonie Pools outside to the world. Apparently it wasn't the first time he's done it, Francine and I found out quite shortly.

Running through an ally heading round the way back, hobbling over rubbish just to escape the police.

It was rather thrilling.
I hate to admit but I'd love to do it again.

We walked in through the doors of St. Jude's and headed up the stairs, Fergus rang the doorbell and in we entered back into our ward after Isabel unlocked the door. Isabel beckoned me over, presumably about the news I was foretold before leaving.

"Did you have fun outside Joe?" She asked as I nodded.

"I'm glad to hear Joe." She smiled as I smiled back awkwardly.
"So the news.." I cooed as she awed.
"Right- of course, So we've managed to get you an appointment with the psychiatrist here- Mrs. Peddling, you'll be seeing her Wednesday at 2." She told me as I nodded listening.
"We also have your pills sorted out so no skipping out on them." She jested as I gave a breathy laugh.

"Alright, thank you." I said before walking off to find Campbell.
