Anna Jay has thrived ever since joining All Elite Wrestling but for the longest while it hasn't felt the same. But what will happen when she reunites with one of her longtime friends?
Anna Jay got her start in All Elite Wrestling and ever since has taken the opportunity she was given and thrived. While she still hadn't won a title she had made her name known and was using every chance she got to make it known to Tony Kahn that she was there for life.
Anna's wrestling had improved tenfold and while she was getting bigger and bigger matches she couldn't help but feel like something wasn't right. Something was missing but she couldn't quite put her finger on what.
When Anna had gotten her start nobody thought she was going to go anywhere. They always thought she was using her looks and couldn't wrestle. But there was one person who saw past it all. He was the one that saw that she had not only the skill but the talk to go along with it all.
Nyles Wright was just that person. Nyles got his start in wrestling at the young age of six. His father had been wrestling since the same age and when he had wanted to get into it his father took him under his wing. The day he turned eighteen was the day he signed with Impact wrestling and from there his creative mind had taken over. The fans had loved his character. He was a care free no holds barred wrestler that left his body in the ring. His promos rivaled anyones and his skill backed up his words. Think of Orange Cassidy lovability mixed with Darby Allen daredevil antics, but with the skills on the mic like Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
When Anna walked into his fathers wrestling school everyone looked past her. But Nyles saw something else. He saw the fact that she was there early and left last. He saw that everyone had overlooked her and when he had seen her crying after practice one day he made a point to ignore everyone else's advice and took her under his wing.
From there it was history. He taught her everything he had known and let her athletic ability shine. They spent nights together working on different promos. Anna had found her confidence with Nyles' advice while he had found a true friend in Anna.
The two were inseparable until she signed with All Elite Wrestling and while they still talked and hung out it was nowhere near like before. While she had found success in that company, he was slowly fading as Impact's roster grew. But he never let it get him down. Instead he found other ways to make a name for himself.
