The next few days had been a whirlwind. The painters had worked lightning fast and had finished the entire house by Thursday afternoon. As they had finished rooms, so had we moved in. Luckily Walmart had delivered the kid's new beds and other furniture that Wednesday morning.

Each evening Willow and I had worked at the new house. Me, doing the manual labour, like putting the beds together and her doing the decorating.

At one point I had walked into Zeppelin's room to find Willow on a step ladder hanging curtains. I will be honest, I lost my shit and raised my voice.

She had argued back that she was perfectly safe and knew exactly what she could and couldn't do and to stop treating her like she was dying.

I had to concede and let her carry on, but stood directly behind her waiting to catch her, should she wobble one little bit.

When it came to Arrow and JJ's room, I had made sure I had hung the curtains well before Willow arrived. Yes, I did have to google how to fit the metal clips into the plastic clips, and then onto the rail. Why the hell is hanging a curtain so complicated?

I had been working on our room on Thursday morning before heading off to the Gynae. Luckily Jared had popped in to help, as the sleigh bed was definitely not something I would have been able to do on my own.

Willow had gone through her salvageable items on Tuesday, so now the house was a good mixture of hers, mine and new.

It was actually uncanny how well her style and mine married. Even Jared had commented on it.

Everything had gone well at the Gynae visit. Although he had been a bit shocked that the baby was already in position for delivery- head down. He just warned Willow to take it easy( I got a finger point and got told to shut up before I could even open my mouth.) The doctor said that the baby could move again, but that he would check again in two weeks.

Friday we had the world descend on Austin. I had called in all my "markers" and had roped all the "celebrities" I knew stayed in Austin, all my Supernatural and The Boys buddies, and with the help of Random Acts organising and the City of Austin pushing the licences through, the little fundraiser to help restore the city of Austin and it's surrounding area that were affected by the Tornado, had turned into a mini festival.

Loudan Swain, Jason Manns, Steve Carlson, and some up and coming local bands from Austin were singing, and even Stage-it tickets were for sale.

There were photo ops with the performers available, as well as with all the Supernatural and Boys stars. I had even roped in James Van der Beek, who was also living in Austin and Joshua Jackson from my Dawson days. I had put a call out to the ladies and Kerr Smith, but both were on set and Kerr was overseas.

As for the Karaoke part of the fundraiser,Willow had come up with the idea of people buying tickets to hear a celebrity sing their choice of a karaoke.

Between Willow and Gen's nagging, Jared had begrudgingly put his name down. You had to buy a ticket and then vote for your celebrity. To help Jared out, Willow had put a goal for each performer, so unless that goal was reach the performer didn't have to sing.

Poor Jared was very close to making voting target and Misha had far exceeded the goal. He had said if the  voting was double he would sing two songs. Gen had made sure that her target was low, as she definitely wanted to sing.

Right now, we were all crowded around the old house, having pizza and beer. Between Jared, Dee and my two houses, we had most of everyone with a place to sleep. Unfortunately some were sleeping in the kids beds or on couches, but didn't mind.
