Behind her was a screen and it showed Izuku with a number one next to him, to the left in small print was what class he was in and all sorts.
Next was me. I saw my face with my (H/C) hair in its usual hairstyle and my (E/C) eyes with the number two next to him.
Todoroki was in 3rd.
Katsuki was 4th.
Shiozaki was 5th from Class 1-B.
Honenuki was 6th from Class 1-B.
Iida was 7th.
Tokoyami was 8th.
Sero was 9th.
Kirishima was 10th.
Tetsutetsu was 11th from Class 1-B.
Ojiro was 12th.
Awase was 13th from Class 1-B.
Tsuyu was 14th.
Sato was 15th.
Shoji was 16th.
Uraraka was 17th.
Momo was 18th.
Mineta was 19th.
Mina was 20th.
Koda was 21st.
Jiro was 22nd.
Kaibara was 23rd from Class 1-B.
Tauburaba was 24th from Class 1-B.
Kaminari was 25th.
Bondo was 26th from Class 1-B.
Yanagi was 27th from Class 1-B.
Shinso was 28th from Class 1-C.
And 14 others passed.
"Only the top 42 will advance to the next round. But don't be too let down. If you didn't make the cut. We have prepared other opportunities for you to shine. Now the real fun is about to begin. The chance to fully move into the limelight! Give us your best!" She then raises her right hand with her whip and points to the screen.
The same rolling of random activities appeared. "Let's see what we have in-store for you next. Will your wildest fantasies come to life? What could it be? The waiting is torture. Prepare yourselves...for this!" She puts her glasses down before pointing to the screen. The words 'Caverly Battle' appear.
"Allow me to explain. The participants will form teams of two to four people as they seem fit. In theory, it's basically the same as a regular playground game. But there is one difference."
I frowned as I didn't like the sound of her voice.
"Each player has been assigned a point value based on the results from the obstacle course." Everyone started mumbling since it made sense.
"Maybe you should shut up and let me explain things to you!" Midnight yelled annoyed. "Now then, the point assignments go up by increments of five, starting from the bottom. For an example, 42nd place is worth five points and 41st is worth 10. And the point assigned to the first place contestant is...10 million!!"
"Eh?" Izuku let out a terrified sound as everyone's eyes were on him like a predator and he was their prey.
'Poor Izuku. He's their target now.'
