So I had a dream a couple nights ago about a cute Obi-Wan and Satine proposal. Heck Dave this is what really happened.

Satine sat on the quiet balcony overlooking the lands of Mandalore. She stared up at starry the sky. She wore a castleton floor length dress. The sleeves came down just past her elbows with frills at the shoulder. The bodice kept to her form while the skirt flowed out at the waist. Accenting the dress was a pastel green belt, studded with silver jewels, and a necklace of the same color. Her hair was down and she wore a seaglass headband covered with pearls.
"You know, that's my favorite color on you." Obi-Wan said as he walked up behind her. Satine looked over her shoulder and smiled at him. He took a seat next to her.
"Why are you all the way out here, Duchess? Is the view of the city from your bedroom window not splendid enough for you?" He teased. Satine sighed.
"That's not the reason at all. Mandalore is magnificent, yes. But I prefer to see the real sky, especially when it's as beautiful as it is tonight." Satine returned her gaze to the stars. Obi-Wan copied her.
"Yes. Tonight's sky is lovely. Yet it barely compares to your beauty as you sit here underneath it, Satine." He all but whispered.
"Still as charming as ever, aren't we Obi?" She grinned.
The pair sat in silence for a long time, admiring the stars. Obi-Wan's gaze shifted between the night sky and its reflection in Satine's eyes. Whenever he returned his gaze to the stars, Satine would take her turn looking at him. He hadn't noticed, but she'd been subtly inching closer to him as they sat together. With a sudden wave of boldness, Satine leaned over and rested her head against Obi-Wan shoulder. The jedi knight automatically tensed, but relaxed quickly and smiled.
"Tired Duchess? I can take you inside, it's late." He said politely. Satine said nothing, only started humming a soft mandalorian tune. Obi-Wan fought with himself for a second, then cautiously wound an arm around her, pulling her into his side. They sat together contently.
Satine was surprisingly the first to move, ending the intimate moment. She slowly sat back up and Obi-Wan stood, giving her his arm to help her to her feet.
"It is quite late. Walk me to my quarters?" She asked.
"Of course." He nodded and took her hand. Satine was quiet until they reached her door.
"You'll be leaving tomorrow, then, now that the DeathWatch threat has been quelled?" She asked in a saddened tone. Obi-Wan frowned.
"Yes. The council most likely has another mission for me, though I wish it was not so. I've quite enjoyed our time together Satine." Obi-Wan took her hand and kissed it.
"As have I. I wish you could stay longer Obi, I have missed you." She came forward and gently cupped his cheek, it was a gesture she did only to him. Obi-Wan sighed.
"I've missed you too Satine. But I can't stay any longer. Anakin is already suspicious of us as it is." He tried to joke.
"Yes, I know." Satine resigned. Her hand remained caressing his face.
"I remain unsure about the beard. It hides your handsome face far too much." She teased. Obi-Wan chuckled softly.
Inside, he was fighting with himself again, it seemed he always did that around Satine. A part of him yelled 'attachments are forbidden, you're a jedi' repeatedly. While another part of him whispered 'but I love her'. Satine could see the turmoil in his eyes so she backed away with a frown.
"I'm sorry, was that too much?" She asked, anxiously squeezing her hands together. Obi-Wan smiled at her and took her hands in his own.
"No dear Satine, I loved when you do that." He assured her. Only he'd meant to say 'liked', yet somehow his real feelings had peaked out. He internally scolded his heart for bypassing his mind.
"Then why are you upset? Something's on your mind, I can see it." She insisted. She'd always been good at reading him. Obi-Wan sighed, and looked at her with longing.
"Had you only said the words Satine, I would have dropped my lightsaber then and there. Leaving mandalore, leaving you, that was one of the hardest decisions I ever made as a padawan." He revealed. Satine tilted her head.
"What words, Obi? That I wanted you to stay? You already knew that." She defended with furrowed brows. His heart sped up.
"I fooled myself into thinking that I'd only imagined your interest, that you were simply grateful for my protection and nothing more. It was... easier to accept that way. That as our situation stands I cannot be with you." Obi-Wan looked down. Satine squeezed his hands.
"Dear Obi-Wan, I have always loved you, and I always will." She confessed. Obi-Wan's eyes widened, and his heart panged.
The 'no attachments' side of him begun to to be drowned out by her words. Obi-Wan closed his eyes and searched the Force, he felt his own conscious, drilled into him all his life at the temple, speaking against his love for Satine. But somehow the Force wasn't alerting him to danger. If attachments really did cause the fall of jedi, why didn't he feel in the wrong?
"Satine..." He couldn't seem to find the words.
"Stay with me, Obi-Wan Kenobi, you are my only love." Satine pleaded softly. Obi-Wan moved towards her, hesitantly placing a hand on her waist, the other cradling the back of her head. Satine rested her arms around his shoulders.
"Oh how long I have waited for you to say those words." He leaned in. "I love you, Satine Kryze." She smiled and closed the tiny distance between their lips. The stars twinkled, as if in a cheer for the couple finally realizing they could not live without each other. As they parted, Obi-Wan grinned.
"I will never choose to leave you again." He promised. "And, I have a comm call to make."
