"Jungkook," you mumbled, fiddling with your fingers. "You don't have to do this."
"I have to (Y/N), I need to protect you from these bastards." He said, hatred and anger is clear in his voice.
"I can protect myself, Jungkook," You said softly, "Hey, I should be the one protecting you. I promised right?" He replied placing a hand on your shoulder and looking in to your eyes deeply.
You sighed and nodded. "Okay," He gave you a comforting smile and gave you a small kiss on the forehead. "I'll be back soon, wait for me okay?" He said.
A tear fell from your cheek, "I'll wait for you." With that said you crashed your lips together, the sweet moment was stopped when there was a knock on the door. Jungkook stood up and opened the door to reveal the other BTS Gang.
You smiled at them, Seokjin ruffled your hair to annoy you which it did. "Stop." You whined, he laughed at you. "Well, Jungkook, you ready bro?" Jimin said placing his arm on Jungkook's shoulder, "Yeah, let's go!" Jungkook said, bringing his bag with him.
He made his way towards you and gave you another passionate kiss and a quick hug, "I love you." You smiled, "I love you too."
And those were your last words before everything lost control.
You stood in front of Jungkook's grave, it's been how many months since his death. They lost against their rival, many of them got injured but the worst part was his death. It killed you inside, you still remembered the day that you promised to wait for him. Yes, you did, but you got worried when the BTS members came back without Jungkook. You were so helpless when you saw him on the hospital bed, injuries all over his body.
And when the heart monitor gave a long beep, you knew that your world has crashed down.
It was extremely painful, to see the man you love die in front of you. Holding him was painful because you don't want to let him go. But letting him go is much more painful because you'll know that he won't be by your side ever again.
You can't escape the dark reality, you wanted to forget him, but the memories keeps on coming back.
You try to forget, but it errors because you know that you're lying to yourself. You can't forget him even if you try to, because in your womb is the child that reminds you of him.
