You were woken up by your phone going off, you groaned and stretched a little bit. Checking your phone to see a message from your boyfriend; Yoongi or known as Suga.
You smiled to yourself and clicked the message icon. It read:
Open the front door x
You frowned, "What's up with him now?" Standing up from your messy bed, you made your way towards the front door and opened it to reveal a light blue box. Is this another prank of his? You thought to yourself. "It won't hurt.. I guess."
Taking the box with you, you sat on the sofa and opened the box. Your eyes widen in surprise when you see a white maxi dress and a pair of flats with little diamonds in the middle. There was a note too with a necklace with your birthstone and Yoongi's birthstone. Around it said, 'forever and always'.
You opened the note to reveal another message:
Get ready at 5 pm. I'm taking you somewhere. Yours Truly, Yoongi <3
You chuckled to yourself, he really went all out. It was unusual for him to be this sweet to you, normally, he would pick on you jokingly. The total opposite to this.. I wonder what he's going to do now. You thought.
It was now around 4:30 pm.. You were putting on some light makeup and fixed your hair, you wanted to impress him. Showing him that you're not the awkward (Y/N) that he always sees..
Minutes later a knock on the door came, you scurried away and grabbed your sling bag; making your way towards the door. You opened it to see Yoongi in a formal attire; with the common suit and tie.
You laughed at him, "Jeez.. Stop laughing, I'm trying here." He joked. You slapped his arm lightly and closed the door behind you, locking it in the process. "All ready, my lady?" Yoongi said offering his arm for you to take. "Yes, I am." You replied. Both of you laughed and made your way towards his car.
The ride was silent but not awkward. It was just the normal car ride for you, besides the fact that Yoongi keeps on rubbing circles around your leg. You decided to take a nap during the ride, as you lean your head on the car seat; you heard Yoongi say something but sleep took over you.
Waking up to Yoongi shaking you, you looked around the surroundings. It was then that you realize, you're at your favorite place; the beach. Yoongi opened the car door a little wider for you to get out, because yeah, he wants to be the 'gentleman'.
He led you to a small clearing somewhere in the middle of the beach where you could clearly see the sun setting. There was a small picnic in there, full of different kinds of food, there were pillows and Yoongi's guitar placed at the side.
You ran towards the place and sat, searching through the piles of food. You took out a box of oreos and started eating. "Not waiting for me, huh?" You heard Yoongi say, "Sorry." You replied, with a mouthful of cookies.
He chuckled at your behavior and took a cookie from you, eating it happily the same way as you.
And that's how your day went by, you two watched the sunset, Yoongi playing a song on the guitar for you, cuddling under the moonlight.
"Thank you, for all of this." You said looking at him deeply in the eyes. He smiled a small smile, "It's nothing, I just want to make you happy."
Your heart clenched at his words, you didn't expect this from a lazy guy like Yoongi. "It's perfect. You already made me the happiest girl in this planet."
You heard him chuckle, "Then, can you make me the happiest guy in this planet? By doing something for me?" You looked at him weirdly, "What is it?"
He propped himself up and took something from his pocket; a small box.
He opened it to reveal a diamond ring, your eyes widened, "(Y/N), we've been together for almost 4 years now, and I couldn't be more happier. But I would be the happiest man if you answer this.."
He looked into your eyes and said, "Marry me, baby?"
