Chapter 11

{POV Third Person}

Finally, it was the day of the party, and Ranboo was sick from nervousness. Rue, Evelyn, and Esther had all come over to get ready and go over the plan one more time. They all sat there at the island, putting the final pieces on, with their hair tied up in many different styles, including braids and hairpieces.

Evelyn's blonde hair was tied into 2 braids that wrapped around her head in a braid halo, the bottom half of her hair cascading down her back in beautiful ribbon curls, she also had many star jewels scattered in the braids.

(Like a mis of these two but also like really blonde)

Rues curly hair had been styled down with her outfit, a matching bandanna wrapped around her head.
(This but the same bandanna pattern as her jacket.)

Esther's short hair had two braids on the sides tied up in the back with a moon pin, their front bangs lose over their eyes. (Don't have pic of braids)

And Ranboo, against his will had gotten his hair trimmed by Evelyn and tied up in the back with a black and white ribbon.
(This but with Ranboos mop of a head.)

They were all sitting at the kitchen island, going over the plan one final time before leaving.

"So Rue will sneak you in while Evelyn distracts Tom," Esther said to the three sitting at the island.
"I've told Tom that all the presents will be in my room, so he's not allowed in," Rue added.
"This will allow you to hide in there until we can reveal you!" Evelyn chimed in.

Ranboo nodded their head.
"I think I've got it all. Let's just hope it goes well," they let out a dry chuckle.

Evelyn gave them a sympathetic look.
"You're nervous, aren't you?" She said.
"How could I not be?! The whole idea was to ask him out today?!" Ranboo whined, their head falling onto the counter.

Rue stole a quick look at the clock.
"Ok! No time to be sad, Ran-" she put a hand on their shoulder.
"We need to be there by 10 before people start arriving, and it's 9:50!" She explained.
"Everyone in the car!"

Everyone grabbed the last pieces of their outfits, and they were out the door.

{Time Skip}

They were at the apartment, and just as planned, Evelyn and Esther went up first, with Rue and Ranboo following slightly behind them. Rue unlocked the door and called out for Tommy as Ranboo hid around the wall. Evelyn and Esther went inside and led Tommy to the kitchen while they were talking. Rue went in and made sure Tommy was gone before grabbing a blanket and putting it over Ranboo. She led Ranboo to her room quickly but quietly. Once they got inside, they shut the door, and Rue began explaining.

"So you can stay on my bed and use my charger or whatever. I should be the only one coming in, but if anyone else does, you can hide behind the mirror in the corner; it should completely cover you. If not, just hide in the closet. You were already in there for 14 years; you can handle a couple of minutes until the person leaves. I'll bring you some food in a bit, and I'll knock before I come in, so that you know it's me. When I come in, I'll put the box on you and bring Tommy in, so stay quiet." She finished, taking a big breath.
"You got that?" Rue questioned.

Ranboo nodded their head, and Rue left the room, closing the door behind her. Ranboo looked around and saw the box nicely decorated with a bouquet of flowers next to it.

'She really thought of everything,' Ranboo thought before sitting on the bed and pulling out their phone.

Over time, Ranboo could hear people come into the apartment. They heard many familiar voices and were getting more and more nervous. They felt that twisting feeling come back as the clock ticked closer to 11. Rue had come in many times with food and gifts people had brought.

It had been around 20 minutes since Rue had come in last, and Ranboo could hear them talking about gifts.
