Chapter 1: Who the hell is Aiden?

"Aru! You know, Aiden-"

Aru looked up from her script. "No, Kara. I don't know Aiden. Leave me alone." Kara huffed, closing the door from which she'd just barged in. "C'mon Aru-"

"Kara, I couldn't care less about your crush on mystery boy."

"But you know him!"

"Just because he's part of the Potatoes does not mean I know him, Kara."

Her sister looked visibly annoyed, and sat herself down on her bed. "You don't have to talk to me like that, y'know? I've done nothing but talk about a guy I really like."

"I do not need to know about the guy you really like, sister dearest. It's not even like you talk about anything else! Aiden this, Aiden that, like seriously? Don't you get tired of talking about him?"

"He's a nice guy." Kara said slowly, as though she were explaining something to a toddler. Aru didn't bother responding, and went back to her script.

Romeo and Juliet was beginning to give her a headache. What kind of lover asked the gods to turn their beloved into stars after cutting the guy up to litter the sky? Was the cutting up part even necessary?

Shakespeare needed to up his game. His so-called tragedies were more comedic and gross at this point than sad.

"Are you not even going to respond to what I say? I'm not just a potato sitting here."

Aru smirked. "But you are a Potato."

"Aru, I-"

"Kara, please just let me read in peace for once." Aru said, looking at her fully and twisting in her chair. "I don't want to hear about your crush on Aiden today."

"But it concerns you this time!" Kara cried out. "Here me out, will you?"

Aru raised an eyebrow at that. "Because it apparently concerns me, go ahead."

"You have a project right? For the end of the year?" Her sister started. "The one that needs cinematic pictures?"

"You actually listen to me? That's a first."

"Shut up!" Kara rolled her eyes. "Anyway, we do too. And guess what? We need pictures as well!"

"Where are you going with this?" Aru eyed her curiously.

"Me and Aiden are going to work together on ours-" At those words, Aru rolled her eyes. And Kara was back to talking about Aiden again. But she wasn't expecting what Kara said next. "And if you can be our model, then we can all work together"

Aru dropped her script. "You want me as your model? Sorry. Third-wheeling, no thank you."

"Aru" Kara begged, drawing out the 'u'. "Please! It would help all of us! Mutual benefits, dear sister!"

Aru thought about it. Honestly, Kara was right about the mutual benefits. It would get all of their jobs done quicker. Why waste the opportunity?

"Fine, but don't kiss in front of me or something, I'm only 19, okay."

"Wait really? Okay, that's good, since I already told him I found a model."

"You...what?" Aru looked at her. "You planned it all out?"

Kara looked at her sheepishly. And then she smiled brightly. "But the bright side is, you finally get to meet Aiden!"

Aru rolled her eyes and said dryly, "Yay me."
