Although Nina had been given the rest of the day off, Malachi still had work to do. He returned to his workshop to find the first oscilloscope test was complete.
He loaded in the second coil, and put on the visor to examine the other parts of the emitter array.
He didn't turn it on. He stared at the table for a minute, thinking, then he took off the visor, and set it aside.
Malachi pulled a toolkit from a shelf and began checking the contents.
