Even from a distance, Bismarck already spots the black barrier forming a dome around the base and its surrounding waters. No signal can get through either side, so they to bypass the barrier somehow since there are kansens trapped inside.
"Bismarck, it'll be a waste of time if all of us fight the hindering METAs" Friedrich der Grosse suggests
"There are two battlecruisers and a confirmed U-boat. We may have the numbers, but even one META is dangerous" Bismarck is cautious for a reason
Bismarck learns it from her first and last clash against Bismarck META who is not even putting any effort in overpowering her and uninterested with the entire fight.
"We don't have to beat them, just keep them distracted long enough to breach the barrier" Graf Spee agrees with Friedrich der Grosse
"Torpedoes up ahead!" Deutschland spots several torpedoes north
The fleet detects one U-556 META only after she launches several torpedoes at once. Their formation scatters after one torpedo up to another targets them.
"Eh? I have a dark version too?!"
Underwater, U-556 is surprised to discover with her two eyes a silver-haired and matured-looking META version of her circling the Iron Blood fleet.
"I've lost count how many times I've seen my face - Wait! This isn't time to be distracted. Lord Bismarck said keep out everyone unnecessary"
U-556 META rolls and spins while simultaneously dodging and mumbling to herself. She succeeds in disturbing the formation, but her mission is being diverted with her normal version keeping her away.
"Hey! Why are you attacking Lord Bismarck, other me?" U-556 shakes her fist
"My Lord Bismarck said no unnecessary people allowed! She's busy fighting Lady Tirpitz!" U-556 slips
"What?!"
"Ah! I'm not supposed to say that! Lord Bismarck isn't going to be happy"
"Lord Bismarck, Lady Tirpitz is in danger. She's currently fighting Bismarck META. Leave the rest to us and go ahead!"
U-556 immediately radios Bismarck knowing the danger Tirpitz is currently in.
"You can't go! It's too early to interfere. They're still having a sisterly discussion!" U-556 META panics
Sensing the fleet heading to the Ugly Sisters' location and Bismarck separating herself from the rest causes U-556 META to be unsure who to target first.
"Lady Tirpitz is Lord Bismarck's only sister and not the META version". U-556 pouts
"I wish that's the case. Even Lord Bismarck thinks so....." U-556 changes to a sorrowful expression
"Huh?"
"Enough chitchat! As my Lord Bismarck's trusty perzival of the sea, I won't let you pass"
"Bring it!"
U-556 is unfazed even against a darker version of herself and challenges her at the same time she narrowly dodges a torpedo aimed at her head.
"Bismarck, went the other way......" Scharnhorst META scratches her head
"That's fine. We expected this would be the case anyway" Gneisenau META sighs
"How long are they going to have a heart-to-heart talk?" Scharnhorst META turns around and stares the barrier
The two META sisters stand guard at one side of the barrier. Scharnhorst META eagerly expects their resistance as she stretches her arms up and back while Gneisenau META looks back at the barrier.
"It would be nice if they can settle it with little need for physical force, but our Tirpitz is different" Gneisenau META shakes her head in dismay
"Unless your Victorious, you'd have to subdue her to make her listen. If she's only as calm and nice as the Tirpitz here....." Scharnhorst META's gaze is afar
"Scharnhorst, look!"
"....!"
Gneisenau META points at a section of the barrier where ice begins to force through from the millimeter gap of the pitch-black barrier.
"Looks like their Bismarck will meddle at the wrong time. They're finally serious there, huh" Scharnhorst META clicks her tongue
"Bismarck better end this soon"
