Charlotte'sbreath caught in her throat, her heart racing as she watched you glide gracefully toward the Palais Mermonia.
The sight was like witnessing a marvel, and she couldn't help but capture the moment, clicking away on her camera, trying to immortalize your elegant stride before you disappeared into the building.
"Wow..." she whispered to herself, the awe in her voice unmistakable.
Her trance was abruptly broken by Paimon's voice from behind, startling her out of her reverie.
"Uh, Charlotte? What in Teyvat are you doing in the bushes?"
Paimon inquired, her tone a mix of confusion and amusement, echoed by the equally puzzled expression on Aether's face.
"WOAAH!!" Charlotte let out a piercing scream as she whirled around to face the duo, her eyes wide with shock.
"Y-You scared me!" she exclaimed, her voice shaking with the lingering adrenaline.
Aether and Paimon exchanged a quick glance, equally surprised by her sudden outburst.
"Hey, hey, it's alright. Take a deep breath," Aether said in a soothing tone, trying to calm her down.
After a moment, Charlotte managed a nervous chuckle.
"Sorry about that," she apologized, still trying to regain her composure.
"I was just... um, getting ready for my next interview."
Her voice trailed off as she spoke, a hint of embarrassment coloring her cheeks.
"In the bushes? With the city falling apart?" Paimon asked, raising an eyebrow in bemusement.
Charlotte cleared her throat, "Yes."
Aether's expression remained impassive as he responded,
"So you were essentially stalking someone and taking photos."
Charlotte couldn't help but smile sheepishly in response.
"It's not stalking! It's for my next article!" she defended her actions.
Paimon crossed her arms, intrigued. "Oh, so now you're talking about an article?"
"What? Everyone at Steambird is covering the earthquake from two days ago. But I want to shift the focus to someone else, someone who's the subject of endless rumors!"
Charlotte explained, a glint of determination in her eyes.
Paimon's eyes widened with excitement. "Who are you talking about?"
"A person who seemingly appeared out of nowhere..." Charlotte's smile widened as she continued.
"Who is it? Come on, spill the beans!" Paimon leaned in eagerly.
