This ship was requested by absolutely nobody, as I was thinking about it randomly and decided to make a chapter about it.
My honest rating is a 3.5/10. The reason why it was given 3 and a half points was because of earlier seasons, specifically season 1 (BFDI), and in the last episode of BFB, and if that season and sole moment didn't happen, then this ship would be a flat out 0. Maybe even a negative. They're just better off as besties.
First of all, in BFDI 25, it's pretty obvious that Firey didn't invite Leafy to Dream Island, and his reasoning behind that was because he was overthinking on how Leafy was killed by his ferris wheel and thought that she didn't like it, so he didn't like her as a whole anymore. Leafy, because of her exclusion, didn't like Firey either, which caused her to steal it, and that made this relationship so much worse.
Ever since that episode, they didn't have any interaction with each other until BFB 15 because of Firey just pretending that he forgot about he for the past several seasons, even when he recovered her in BFDIA. And in that episode, they were obviously not having a dandy well time with each other, as Firey did state that he wanted nothing to do with her and it would just humiliate himself having people notice that they were making eye contact with each other. This hurt Leafy, and this drove Firey to exposing the worst thing Leafy had done, which was all his fault, to Eggy, and wanted to make all of The Losers dislike her.
This is just my insight, but if BFB didn't split, then I feel like since Firey spilled the beans (and Clock was forgotten about, but this isn't about him), there would be a huge arc between The Losers and it would be similar to BLEH, having drama every single episode revolving around one character's beliefs. Oh yeah, and probably Clock hating the entire team and purposefully screwing things up for them, but this is going too offtopic.
Back to stuff about this ship, things didn't happen with them until BFB 18, and Leafy was having PTSD about her expirences with Firey when they were up to face eachother on the balance beam connecting the two towers. Not fun.
Nothing went on between these two for a few episodes, three to be exactly percise, and they eventually had conflict at first, but made up because of the whole diary situatuon. Personally, in my opinion, I think that Leafy made a huge mistake lying to her team and making them lose over a deal with Firey, but it's for arc purposes.
They didn't have anything major for the rest of the series, other than just small parts of bonding, until the last episode, where they find their Dream Island.
If these two were actually together, then it would probably be very short-lasting and toxic because of how much they argued, had hardships, and had conflicts throughout the series.
Sorry if you didn't want to read an entire essay over just one small opinion with facts you most likely already know. I just want my opinion to be heard out, as it's the entire purpose of this book, and I don't want your opinion to be changed just because my opinion is different. Please, just be yourself and follow your own beliefs.
