Three days had passed since Lisa's visit to Louis's salon and the introduction of Yusuke as the newest member of the Chii-chan Protection Club. Unfortunately, she had come down with a cold that kept her bedridden. Masaomi, ever the caring and attentive older brother, had been checking up on her regularly to make sure she was on the mend.

As Lisa lay in bed, bundled up in her blankets, Masaomi approached her with a sympathetic smile. "How are you feeling today, Lisa?"

Lisa managed a weak but grateful smile in response. "I'm feeling better, Onii-san, but I think I still need one more day of rest to fully recover."

Masaomi nodded, understanding her need for recuperation. "Alright, take all the time you need. I'll make sure you're comfortable and well taken care of."

Downstairs in the kitchen, Ukyo, the culinary expert of the family, decided to prepare a warm bowl of porridge for Lisa. He believed that a nourishing meal would aid her recovery. With care and precision, he selected the finest ingredients and began to craft a comforting dish for his beloved younger sister.

Upstairs, as Lisa was resting and Masaomi was attending to her, Ema was also helping Ukyo prepare a bowl of porridge for Lisa when Ukyo suddenly handed her two letters.

"You've got a letter. It just arrived, and it's from Subaru."

Ema's eyebrows raised in surprise. "Subaru? That's unexpected. I wonder what it's about."

"Do you mind giving this to Lisa? I still need to finish a few more paperwork before dinner," Ukyo said.

"Of course, no problem." Ema then brought the bowl of porridge to Lisa.

"Hey, Onee-chan. What do you have there?" Lisa asked when Ema entered her room.

"Porridge and a letter from Subaru,"

Lisa carefully took a sip of the porridge and Ema carefully opened her letter. Inside, she found a message that read, "Thank you for your support." It was a simple but heartfelt expression of gratitude.

Lisa also saw the letter's contents for a moment before saying, "Onii-chan also has a reason for sending it, huh."

Ema, intrigued by Lisa's comment, inquired, "What do you mean, Lisa?"

Lisa looked at her with a knowing smile. "Well, Onee-chan, you know Subaru. He's not one to openly express his feelings, but he's got a reason for everything he does. This letter may seem simple, but it's his way of letting you know that he appreciates the support you've given him. There's more to it than meets the eye."

Ema nodded, beginning to understand Lisa's perspective. "You're right, Lisa. Subaru has always been a bit reserved when it comes to his emotions. I guess we'll have to wait and see what his true intentions are."

As Lisa rested in bed, surrounded by the warmth and care of her family, she couldn't help but smile at the thought of Subaru's letter. She knew that their bonds of friendship and support ran deep, and she was grateful for the unspoken connection they shared.

As evening descended, Lisa snuggled into her blankets, feeling the effects of the rest and care she had received. She knew she was on the mend, and with a contented sigh, she closed her eyes and prepared to sleep.

Ema, on the other hand, was still curious about Subaru's letter. She quietly tiptoed out of Lisa's room, closing the door gently to not disturb her sister's slumber. With the letter in her hand, she decided to read it in the living room, where she could have some privacy.

As she unfolded the letter and read its contents, Ema couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. Subaru had been training tirelessly, and he expressed his uncertainty about when he could see her again. However, he asked her to look forward to his improvements.
