My brother happened

Gun felt a tap on his shoulder as he looked back to see Off.

You really came. Off said.

I literally was the one to invite you , why wouldn't I come. Gun said with a slight giggle.

Gun then turned around and walked inside the cafe he chose for their date. Off just followed behind. Both of them were having a wonderful time and Off wished they could go to his house or Gun's house cause he wanted to talk more with Gun but that's when Gun's phone vibrated.

He picked it up to see a text from James.

James 🗣️
Do you need me to pick you up from the date ?

Gun looked at the text suspiciously cause he knew damn well that James didn't want to be near love birds at all.

Sorry , my brother needs help. Let's have another date tomorrow. Maybe you can come with me to my house. Gun said.

Is it serious , would you need me to help you as well? Off asked.

No it's fine , he needs more emotional support. Gun said as Off walked him out of the cafe.

I am at the bus stop near the cafe , can you pick me up?

Within 15 mins , James reached the bus stop. They both boarded the bus to their house. As they sat at the back they started to talk.

What happened. Gun asked.

Nothing , I just came to pick you up. James.

Don't make excuses, just spit it out. Gun said.

James sighed and then told whatever happened with Net. Gun was shocked by what he heard. Eventhough if Net knew he might not have said something like that but it still hurt to hear that.

James was very insecure about not being able to speak. Gun vividly remembered one day when James almost drowned but wasn't able to ask for help. Thankfully Gun saw him and saved him. James was upset with everyone. When Gun tried to console him , James told with a lot of pain that it was pure torture to him, how he could see everyone talking , he could hear people talking but not be able to speak himself.

Do you want me to give him a piece of my mind. Gun asked.

No , it's fine. I'll just avoid him from now on. James said.

Fine , as you wish. Gun said.

Fourth didn't imagine that he would end back at the exhibition. He was doing pottery while Gemini's hand guided Fourth on how to do it.

"This feels weird , aren't you a touchy person", Fourth said.

"I just like physical touch ", Gemini whispered in Fourth's ear as Fourth felt a shiver down his spine. He looked back at Gemini with a pout.

Gemini giggled looking at Fourth's face as he left his hands and sat in front of Fourth.

"Now you try yourself ", Gemini said as Fourth started to work on the pot he was making.

They both had a great time and even went for dinner after that. As Fourth was finally convinced to go with Gemini back to his house , Fourth gets a call.

Fourth picks it up.

On call

Fourth - Hey whats up

James - I'll tell you what's up , you have been at your date for to long you gotta come back.

Fourth - I wanted to go to Gemini's house for sometime. I'll be back later.

James - oh no no , you at his house , no way. Come home.

Fourth - why not ?

James - cause we all know your ass won't be able to hold it in and he won't even try to.

Fourth - Oh come on

James - come home or we are telling mom and dad that their young son found a bf.

Fourth - ok fine , you win.

James - Send your address to Gun , he will pick you up.

Fourth - sure

The call cuts.

"Sorry I gotta go home ", Fourth said.

"Why what happened ?", Gemini asked.

"My brother happened , they want me back home and will be here to pick me ", Fourth said as a car rolled up behind him.

"And he is here . See you tomorrow , I'll drop by the cafe in the morning, bye, good night", Fourth said as Gemini helped him sit in the car.

Gemini greeted Gun which Gun ignored.

"Did you have a good day ?", Gun asked.

Yes , what about you. Fourth said.

"Yeah,  I had a good day as well", Gun replied.

So why did you guys have to crash my date like that ? Too protective ? Fourth said.

"Yes , yes we are . We get you are excited for your first date but you gotta take it slow", Gun said.

Yeah , I get it. How's James ? Fourth casually asked.

"He is going through some things himself. This guy that he told about said something mean today and it hurt James", Gun said.

I swear if that dude said something regarding him not being able to speak , I will make him pay. Fourth said.

"Unfortunately , that's exactly the case", Gun said.

Asshole. Fourth said.

"I think that guy didnt know that James couldn't speak but still it hurt James ", Gun said.

Obviously , who wouldn't be hurt. Fourth said.

"True enough , anyway tell me more about the date. What did you guys do ? ",Gun asked.

Fourth blushed remembering what he had done with Gemini but then got himself to normal so that his brother doesn't get protective again.

The duo reached home right on time. Their parents didn't suspect a thing. The three had dinner like normal though Fourth barely ate cause he was full from the date. He excused himself with a loss of appetite , while the other two bit their tongue to make sure they don't spill anything.

Today there was only a short session between the three brothers , discussing about the daily events , before they went to sleep. They woke up the next morning to a great surprise though.

Their cousin Dew , who wasn't disabled in anyway had come to pay them a visit. Sadly for Fourth and Gun they had already left quite early in the morning so Dew accompanied James to the college. Dew was much older to them and a succesful young buisness man. Despite the age gap , he was close with the brothers since they all were young.

So how did you end up here so suddenly. James asked , honestly surprised to see Dew.

I like surprising you guys. Dew said.

Ofcourse you do. James remarked.

So how has college been treating you ? Dew asked.

Pretty nice actually. I was afraid kids would bully me but everyone was very nice.That's thanks to Gun , he built quite a reputation for himself. James said.

Well I hope you have no problem till you graduate. Btw I heard you are also on some sports team. Dew said.

Yes , I joined the swimming team. It's great. James said.

Good to know that , ok , here we are. Now have a nice day. Dew said.

Both of them got off the bus and had now arrived infront of the buliding. James happily waved to Dew before going in the premises of the college , meanwhile Net burned in anger as he stood a distance away from the scene.
