"Oh, come on you're better than this." Nerissa said as she and Adam were training, she had disarmed her friend pretty quickly, she always did.
Adam span his sword around, "Oh really?" He ducked, kicked Nerissa's leg and a split second later he had gotten Nerissa pinned onto the floor with his sword at her neck, "Adam 1, Neri 0."
"If you have only just started counting, I'm worried." Nerissa said with a smile
Adam chuckled, he stood up and held out his hand, Nerissa rolled her eyes as she took it, letting him help her up, "I think 11 wants to start another prank war. Di said that she heard Connor and Travis plotting."
"Who do they want to prank? If it's me I will drown them." Nerissa said as she walked over to her trident which she had dropped on the ground
Adam was about to respond when they heard a scream coming from the woods, then another, then another.
The pair looked at each other, "Go get Chiron and Tony. I'll go."
"I'm coming with you."
Nerissa stepped in front of him, "Go get Chiron. Go!"
Adam nodded and the pair ran in different directions, Adam towards the big house and Nerissa going towards the woods,
"Thalia! Luke!"
She ran towards the noise and saw a girl with brown hair, way too young to be on her own. The second the girl saw Nerissa she screamed causing the older girl to put her hand over her mouth, "If you want to get out of here, then be quiet. You hear me?" the girl nodded, and Nerissa slowly moved her hand, "What's your name, I'm Nerissa."
"A-Annabeth." She managed to say
Nerissa nodded, "Okay, Annabeth. I'm going to get you back to camp, okay?"
Annabeth shook her head and Nerissa's brows furrowed, "My friends, Grover, Luke and Thalia are trapped."
"Grover? He's out here?" Nerissa asked and Annabeth nodded, "Dammit." Nerissa groaned
Sounds of huge footsteps echoed around the woods, Annabeth then started to run, "Oh come on!" Nerissa groaned as she ran after her
They didn't run for long before they came across two other people. Luke and Thalia, "Oh hell." Nerissa said when she saw a cyclops shouting, "I will destroy you all!"
The girl Thalia, obviously spotted Nerissa and Annabeth as she lowered her guard for a second, which gave the cyclops it's chance it swung its bat against Thalia sending her flying, "Thalia!" Annabeth cried
"Adam, hurry up." Nerissa muttered, she ran towards the cyclops. The Cyclops was momentarily shocked to see another Demigod coming into the fray. Nerissa took that chance to retract her trident, which was disguised as a pen for the most part and stab the cyclops's arm
The cyclops shouted in pain, "Are you two going to help or just stand there gawking!" Nerissa shouted, she tapped her wristwatch and her shield appeared, she moved it just in time for the Cyclops's bat to come crashing down on it.
All was going somewhat okay, until another herd of monsters, specifically hellhounds came out of nowhere, "How many monsters did you three attract!" Nerissa shouted
"Happens when you're the daughter of Zeus." Thalia replied
Nerissa rolled her eyes, demigods shouldn't just announce who their parents are, you never know what monsters hate your parents. And in this case, a lot of them did.
"Go to camp, Grover will-Thalia watch out!" Nerissa shouted
The cyclops hit Thalia again, but this time she didn't move, "Thalia!" Annabeth screamed as she ran towards her
Nerissa impaled a hellhound before another one charged at her and knocked her back into a tree, she leaned back as the same Hellhound ran towards her, but it stopped right in front of her, "Hades..." Nerissa said as she tried to move as far back away from the Hellhound as she could.
The Hellhound growled at her before it ran off, Nerissa let out a breath as she pushed herself up she looked at Thalia, the girl who didn't even know that she was standing right beside her cousin before looking at Grover, "We gotta go! Now!"
Luke grabbed Annabeth and pulled her away from Thalia as they ran up the hill towards the camp was with the hellhounds, and furies not so far behind them, Nerissa turned around when she heard a noise and saw Thalia holding back the monsters with her shield, "Shield Aegis." Grover said
Nerissa nodded, "Yeah, yeah I see that."
As Thalis was dying, surrounded by monsters, somewhat of a miracle happened. Thalia got turned into a tree, Luke picked up a crying Annabeth as the group started to run towards camp.
Once they made it into the camp, they saw Chiron, Tony and Adam running towards the gate
"Oh, you took your time." Nerissa muttered
"Shut up. You okay?" Adam asked as he hugged Nerissa
Nerissa nodded, "Yeah." She looked at Chiron and Tony, "Am I grounded?" Chiron shook his head, "Am I getting a lecture?"
Chiron nodded and said, "Oh yes, definitely."
Tony walked over to Nerissa, "You can't just go out there, pickle. It's dangerous. Especially for you."
Nerissa looked up at him, "We didn't get help. I'll help if I can."
