"Nooo.. Play with me, princess!"

Yeji could still remember the first time she was introduced with the neighbouring country. Still fresh in her mind as if it happened yesterday and she recalled being super unhappy about it. How could she not? Any thirteen years old would be upset if they ought to be engaged with a boy three years older than them without their knowledge. Without getting to enjoy the life to the fullest, since a very young age, Yeji had always been reprimanded of her duty as a princess to her country.

Yet she always thought it would be later than it supposed to be.

Her fiance was a very intelligent boy. Being the crowned prince of the south kingdom on the land, he was expected to be. He also inherited his father's defined structure and his mother beautiful eyes, something that could mend Yeji's heart sometimes. Atleast she was engaged to someone who was an ease to the eyes despite the reluctant.

"Yeji! Play with me!"

Though the one who was whining right now was not the prince by any way. Regardless of the masculine appearance that can deceive people from afar. The girl resisted on wearing the similar to her brother. A suit with a little bow around the little girl's neck and her black hair cut short just above her shoulders, the princess was the younger sister of Yeji's fiance.

And she was an opposite of her soft-hearted brother. Princess Ryujin was wild at heart. Not to mention that if her brother got the feminine features of their mother being the base of his face, Ryujin's face held the most of their father's stone-cold features that could be seen right away. Especially those dark brown eyes and the whiskers showing up upon her smile. In other words, she wasnt one of the pretty dolled-up princess but a very attractive one.

"Ryujin.."

Yeji sighed out as she slowly crouched down to the tantruming girl who was currently sprawling defeated on the ground because of her request being denied by the cat-eyed princess.

"I have to be with your brother now. We will play again later okay?"

Yeji stroked the little girl's jet black locks to behind the girl's ear enough to persuade the girl's sulking pout away.

"Promise?"

"Promise."

The three years gap between her and her fiance seldomly effected their intractions and the depth of their understandings to one another. Their relationship was built out of respect, more like an obligation to abid than a new adventure to be discovered so to think that she would have to face it for her entire life was suffocating.

It was not his fault really because he had tried his best to bond with Yeji but it was just not hitting right.

While with Ryujin, she could be free. She could be herself and herself only. Ryujin was a year younger than her but her mind worked in a way beyond the number that her age appealed which made them click easily. They had the same humour and Yeji had the best laughs when the black haired was around. Frankly, Ryujin was the one to help her get through this fiance thing if not she would have run from this life chosen for her.

"Are you sulking again Shin Ryujin?"

Yeji uttered out playfully as she bended down to Ryujin who was sitting on the ground with a sketch book within her hands. A smile reflected on both of their faces, simply happy to be around each other.

"No. You have to be with the prince I get it now dont worry. Besides, in the end of the day you are with me eitherway."

Yeji rolled her eyes and just laughed it off as a joke between them while looking away from Ryujin. She secretly couldnt handle to feel giddy by the sugar-coated words in Ryujin's sentence that was becoming frequent and normal in her everyday life around the black-haired.
