The pain you caused me made me take a knife to my skin again.
It wasn't you holding the blade, it was my choice and I know that. But for the first time in 10 years I collied them together. I brought back the only coping method my body knew for such pain. And I can never forgive you for that. I can never forgive you for hurting that badly that you broke my streak.
I hadn't fought with my brain like that in a long time. Life gives you enough scars, you shouldn't have to manufacture your own and in the end the only thing that made sense to me was to feel that familiar sting as my skin split into two. To feel that warm trickle.
You brought me back to that place. And I will never forgive you for that.
