Today it was Sergeant James Ripley's funeral and Dr. Rhea Ripley's Funeral and everyone who knew them both was in attendance. Most of the police officers were here to pay their respects and most hospital staff were too.
Maxine had her dad's police force who offered to carry parents ' coffins and she stood by the podium with her speech and waited for the appropriate time to talk.
Derek and his pack were also standing there along with Scott, Stiles, Jackson, and Danny. Jace looks at the priest who gives the nod, it's time for her to talk.” Max Prinţesă?” Jace says gently. Maxine hums.” Oh okay,” Maxine nods.
"Hello, I'm Maxine Ripley, James and Rhea's daughter. Thank you all for your kind words about my parents," Maxine says softly.
"Today we are saying goodbye to both parents, I was raised by two wonderful people, they put everything they had on the line for me, I was given everything if I'd ask for it, they were loving and respectful people," Maxine says with tearful eyes.
"They were everything to me and now they are gone, they don't have a bad bone in their body. Now they have to miss their chances of being the best grandparents too, but I swear they will never forget you, they'll always remember you,” Maxine says softly with a smile.
"And now I'm having to say goodbye to the best part of my life, My mom and Dad. Have fun in the stars you two, I have got this now, I'm okay Sleep easy now," Maxine says.
"In peace, may you leave this shore. In love, may you find the next. Safe passage on your travels, until our final journey to the ground. May we meet again," Maxine says as the coffin gets lowered into the ground.
"May we meet again," The pack repeats. Maxine played three songs throughout the funeral and she cried her heart out as the songs played. Jace held Maxine in his arms and comforted her.

Maxine buried her parents and everyone gave Maxine their deepest sympathies and condolences before leaving the cemetery.
Derek and his pack waited for the humans to disappear before sending a howl up toward the sky in goodbye to a pack member who had lost her parents.
"Goodbye Mom, I love you, goodbye Dad, I love you," Maxine whispers."I have you now Prinţesă, always just you, me, and them," Jace says holding Maxine and her bump." I know," Maxine says softly looking at her family's grave.
