I can't believe they've actually done it. Not long left now. They were warned, but they had to keep pushing the boundaries of science in search of the impossible.
The noise, I can't take the noise anymore, and the light- it's blinding. But neither are as bad as the pain that consumes me, the universe slowly unravelling around me as I lie waiting for death. I can't stop this, no one can. Cities are burnt to the ground with people strewn across towns in pools of blood and rotting flesh, orphans screaming for their parents while chemicals and gases suffocate the planet.
It's coming now. Soon we'll all be gone. Because death is coming and it shows no mercy.
