Unknown POV
Flames explode out of their apartment windows and I stare up in shock, glass rains down on me and I grimace at the pain. But soon, I giggle as I hear the screams and shouts of pain, the just terrible cries as loved ones die.
They can scream, but it won't help them. No one will because I'm coming.
For too long I have sat here, watching and waiting for a time to strike. But now my time has come, time to reveal myself to those pathetic excuses for humans. And they're going to beg for mercy, mercy I was never shown before the apocalypse.
I see her. Staring out the window, tears rolling down her pretty little cheeks. Aww, she's crying, boo hoo. She's the one that I've done all of this for. The reason for my pain and anger.
Her.
She's made a lot of mistakes in her past but this one was just unforgivable. She's a liar, a cheat, a waste of space and a dirty fake.
And all the others deserve to know that, especially poor poor Josh.
Madeline's time is up, she's about to come clean.
Then, I kill her.
