3rd POV
Sundrop wakes up thinking that everything that happened the previous night was all just a dream. Turning his head slightly, he finds Moondrop sleeping next to him and smiles. It wasn’t just a dream, He thought happily. Sundrop carefully moves to get out of bed trying not to wake Moondrop, but Moondrop still felt him get up, and frowned a bit, still asleep. “MmHMmh…, nooo…,” Moondrop mumbled quietly in his sleep. He still had his arm around Sundrop and pulls him back down and against himself. Sundrop giggles a bit and goes back to cuddling with Moondrop.
Sundrop’s POV
I went back to cuddling with Moondrop, but then I realize that the daycare would be opening in less than 30 minutes. I panic and shake Moondrop awake. We rush to the balcony and quickly use the bungee cords to get down. We start getting the daycare ready as fast as we can. We finish just in time before the first kid arrives.
(Time skip to lunch)
3rd POV
Moondrop sighs as he leans on a wall, “Hmm…” He quietly hums a tune to himself. Then a lightbulb turns on in his mind. Sun looks really stressed and tired from all the kids, there are a lot of them today, Mondrop thinks. Moondrop grins slightly as he makes a plan. When all 40 kids had gone to sit at the lunch table and weren’t paying any attention to Sundrop, Moondrop quietly sneaks up behind him. He throws his arms around Sundrop’s shoulders, startling him.
Sundrop’s POV
“GAaRhH!” I yelp in surprise, feeling Moondrop’s cold hands around me. He leans in and kisses my cheek. “M-Moon?! stop what are you doing? We can’t do this right now, we need to keep it a secret, remember?” I say quickly, gesturing at the children. “Ugh…, fine, I’ll wait,” Moondrop sighs lightly, “I was just trying to help get rid of your stress, there’s so many kids today.” he finished. “I know and we can cuddle later, but just not right now,” I reply.
Moondrop’s POV
Just then officer Sora’s weather alert goes off, warning everyone that there’s a 90% chance for a flash flood happening today or tomorrow. Sundrop and I quickly round up all the kids. We reassure the kids who are scarred, as we wait for Sora to call all the parents to come pick them up.
Once all the kids had left, Sora told us that the Pizzaplex will be closed for the next 2 days due to the extreme weather. “Hey Sun, wanna play a game?” I say as another idea pops into my head. “Sure, what game?” Sundrop asks. “Hide’n seek,” I respond, suppressing a smirk.
