"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU KISSED HIM," Alex chuckled, hitting Sage on the arm. The two were laying on Alex's bed as they shared a tub of mint chip ice cream and a plate of leftover pie.
"I didn't kiss him," she muttered, grabbing the spoon from him so she could take a bite of ice cream. "He kissed me."
"Dude, you two kissed," he replied, snatching the spoon away from her. "What difference does it make?"
She rolled her eyes as she took a piece of pie and shoved it in her mouth. After Mark had brought her home, she'd called Alex, telling him to come over to talk about what had happened.
So far, he had been completely useless.
She didn't know what to think. She didn't know Jackson, and after the previous night she wasn't sure if she wanted to.
"It makes a difference!" The Chang girl argued.
"Do you want me to punch him?" Alex asked nonchalantly.
"That would get you kicked out of the program," she said. "And he was drunk."
