<Florida pov>
I stood in my bathroom and looked at myself. My hair was an utter mess, though. That's how it usually was except for the 4th of July as I brushed out my hair and wore a suit to be fancy. I had on an oversized blue shirt that said "Gators" in faded orange letters. Then baggy pajama pants. I changed clothes, putting on a plain white T-shirt and jeans but with a white hoodie that said "Florida" in green letters. What? I like myself.
I waltzed out of my room and to the kitchen. I saw pops making food in the kitchen, so I went to the dining room and plopped myself at the table.
"Hey Florida!" Alabama grinned
"Hiya Ala!" I responded.
"Do you know where Dix is? I've got twenty bucks that I owe him that i finally fixed up." Alabama questioned as Arkansas walked in.
"Nope!" I responded.
"I think he's in his room worn slap out." Arkansas added.
"Ok, I'll give it to em later!" Alabama decided as he slumped in his chair. Massachusetts and Illinois came in and sat down.
"Ugh, I'm so tired!" Massachusetts whined.
"Hush up!" Alabama shouted, then smiled.
"Why do you guys talk like that?" Illinois asked.
"What are ya yapping about?' Arkansas questioned.
"Like that!" Illinois answered.
"Stop it." Massachusetts whispered.
"What?" Illinois questioned.
"It could make them feel bad." Massachusetts answered. Illinois made an "Oh" sound.
"It's fine!" Alabama grinned." It's because we got tons of dem immigrants and rural English folk, and over time, it made our accent." Illinois nodded along. Then Texas walked in a sat next to me.
"Everything's so boring!" Massachusetts whined "Tex can we cause trouble?"
"I mean, why ya askin' me?" Texas replied.
"Because you're fun." Illinois grinned.
" I'm up for it!" I laughed.
"Well, of course you are. Ya do anythang." Texas pointed out.
"I can easily recognize a good time!" I defended "Plus i have nothing to do today."
"Let's make a milkshake out of repulsive ingredients?" Alabama pitched.
"Oh yes, let's do that!" Arkansas agreed.
"Ok, but let's wait til Pa is done fixin' up breakfast." Texas added.
Over time, everyone was at the table, and we git served breakfast.
"Here's your twenty bucks!" Alabama called as he tossed the bill at Confederate.
"Thank you kindly!" Dixie smiled.
"Why did you get him money, Alabama?" Louisiana questioned
"Oh, I owed him because of a bet a while back." Alabama answered
"For?" Louisiana pressed
"Well..." Alabama started."I said I could shoot a 9-inch buck in a day, and sadly, I was only to get a 7 inch."
"That's how you make good money!" Dixie laughed
"Oh bless yalls heart!" Georgia laughed.
"Are you guys talking about deer?" Australia questioned
