Anntonia POV

A year has flown by in the blink of an eye, and looking back, I'm amazed at how much has changed in such a short time. It's been a whirlwind of experiences, from winning CEO of the year to crossing paths with countless new faces and opportunities.

But amidst all the excitement and achievements, there's one thing that stands out above the rest...

Falling in love again

With him, everything just clicked into place effortlessly. It felt like the missing piece of the puzzle had finally been found, like I had stumbled upon something truly special and rare. Every moment spent together felt like coming home, like I had found my place in the world

There's a comfort and ease in his presence that I've never felt before, a sense of belonging that I never knew was missing until now. It's as if fate had brought us together, weaving our paths together in a way that feels destined and inevitable.

With him, love feels effortless and natural, like breathing in the fresh air after a long winter. I'm grateful for every second we share, for every laugh, every touch, every stolen glance across the room.

As I look ahead to the future, I do so with a heart full of hope and excitement, knowing that with him by my side, anything is possible. In his love, I've found a sense of purpose and fulfillment that I never knew existed, and I can't wait to see where this journey takes us next.

It's true what they say , sometimes we need to let go of what no longer serves us in order to make room for something better, something that brings us genuine happiness.

Irfan may have been Michelle's former boss, and I understand it might be surprising to some that I would fall in love with a guy. After all, I've always identified as a lesbian. But love doesn't always fit neatly into predefined boxes or labels. When you feel that undeniable spark, that connection that transcends labels and expectations, it's impossible to ignore.

Before diving into a relationship with Irfan, I took some time to be single, to reflect on what I truly wanted and needed in my life. And when Irfan came into my life, he accepted me for who I am, fully and completely. He knows my history, my identity, and he loves me for me.

Love is a complex and beautiful thing, and it doesn't always conform to societal norms or expectations. What matters most is that I've found someone who brings joy and fulfillment into my life, someone who loves and accepts me just as I am. And in the end, isn't that what genuine happiness is all about?

My thoughts were interrupted by the familiar sound of my phone ringing, and a smile tugged at my lips as I saw his name flashing on the screen.

"Hi babe, how was your day?" Irfan's warm voice greeted me.

"It's good so far, how about yours?" I replied, feeling a rush of happiness at hearing his voice.

"It's great now that I get to hear your voice," he said sweetly. "Babe, I called because I'd like to invite you for dinner."

"Sure, what time babe?" I asked eagerly.

"I'll pick you up at 7 pm," he answered.

"Okay babe," I confirmed, already looking forward to spending the evening together.

"I love you, babe," he said softly.

"I love you too, see you later," I replied, feeling my heart swell with affection as we exchanged our parting words. With a contented sigh, I ended the call, feeling grateful for the love and happiness I've found with Irfan.

Irfan picked me up from the office, and as we arrived at the fancy restaurant, I couldn't help but notice that it seemed deserted. Confusion flickered in my mind as I wondered why the lights were all off.

"Babe, why is there no one here? Are all the lights off?" I asked, feeling a bit puzzled.

"They haven't opened yet, but it's okay since I know the owner," Irfan explained reassuringly. "Let's go inside, babe."

As we stepped into the restaurant, suddenly the lights came on, illuminating the space around us. My eyes widened in surprise as I saw a banner hanging above us with the words, "Will you marry me?"

My heart skipped a beat as I turned to look at Irfan, only to find him already down on one knee, holding out a ring with a look of love and devotion in his eyes.

Tears welled up in my eyes as he spoke his promises of love, his words echoing in my heart and soul. In that moment, surrounded by the glow of the restaurant lights and the warmth of his love, I knew that I had found the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.

With a trembling voice filled with emotion, I whispered my answer, "Yes, Irfan, yes!" And as he slid the ring onto my finger, I felt an overwhelming sense of joy and excitement for the journey that lay ahead, hand in hand with the love of my life.
