Chapter 2: New Found Friends

We arrived at our cousin's house.

"Welcome to Texas, babes!" he said.

"Oh stop it with that nickname. I have outgrown it already, so please call me by my real name." I said.

"Sorrrrrryyyyy.." he said childishly.

"Dear, who were you talking to at the airport a while ago?" my grandmother asked.

"It looked like you know each other very well," she added.

"Well, they were just some new found friends La," I said with a grin.

"So, where do you want to eat?" my aunt asked.

I wasn't really that hungry so I just shrugged and smiled. I'm kinda shy for a fact that this is my first time.

"Uhmmm, Aunt May, can I go and wash up first?" I said shyly.

"Oh, no problem. Hey Chuck, show her to the bathroom please."

My cousin sighed and led me to the bathroom.

"Rest for a few minutes and later we'll go out and eat." I heard my aunt said.

"Where do you want to go, babes. I mean, Liz?" my cousin asked.

"The bathroom." I sarcastically said.

"ha ha ha, very funny."

"Kidding, anywhere nice is fine with me."

"Hmmm... There are a lot. Oh well, you at least have 6 months to explore."

Oh yeah, 6 months. I only have 6 months. but I want to work in that short span of time. at least, I can save up for my own necessities.

Before I went inside, I told my cousin,

"Can you help me find a part-time job?"

He stared at me and eventually shrugged.

Then I closed the door.

When I saw the bathroom, I told myself, damn this is bigger than my room.

Then giggled.

I soaked myself in the bathtub.

I set my timer on my phone for 10 minutes. At least 10 minutes to soak and relax.

Then I'll be good.

The feeling was really good, I felt all of the stress went away.

Then it crossed my mind that Seungri might be emailing me.

I was about to get up but I wanted to relax more.

So, I continued on with my relaxation.

I thought of the time we were on the airplane, the funny moments, the embarrassing moments, as soon as I thought of that, I dipped myself in the water and shouted; Bubbles were forming in the water.

As soon as I was done freshening up. I checked my phone.

"Oh..." there were at least 10 messages when I checked.

Guess I didn't notice it vibrated.

I opened it, and saw that one of the ten messages came from my mother,

"How was the flight? Did you arrive safely? was there no hassle? hope to hear from you soon." it said.

I replied and then went on with the others.
